CHAPTER 33

Jasmine

Ugh can I get some sleep. There was a lot of sound coming from the outside. I can see something moving in the dark room. God what is it.

There was a sound of bullet firing. I was going to shout at the top of my lungs when someone put hand on my mouth.

"Jas, don't make a sound, Roman's men have attacked the house we need to leave this house soon." Van was whispering like someone is going to shoot if they hear us. At the same time a bullet hit our window, throwing the glass across the room. I was wrong it was possible.

"Where are we going and where is your dad?"

"I already told him, Jeremy will call me as soon as they will arrive at the backdoor with the car. I just came to get you".

"Why, they are coming to get us?"

"Don't act like stupid Dumbo in the movie, who can't move in a dangerous situation until they get their freaking question's answer!?" Van was right and that girl can really whisper shout. And her glaring made me move faster with her now dragging hands.

"Jem, is there, dad is already in the car, so we need to be safely out". And she opens the door but instead of Jeremy it was Alessandro, he didn't look at me but guarded us to his car.

And there Jeremy was having a hard time answering George, Van and I sit in the middle seat with Alessandro on the back of the car. He seems too calm and quiet for this situation.

"What do you mean, she has to marry this stupid nerd, she is not getting married at eighteen whatever might be the fvcking reason".

That's why I love Van's dad. He is as protective for me as for Van.

Jeremy looked like he is going to punk all his guts out. With Uncle George staring at his face, I'm sure it can defiant his shaking hands while driving.

"Look at you!!! You are shaking like a leaf while driving, how a little guys like him can even take care of Jas. Touch her and you while lose your manhood".

That definitely send alert to the shaking Jeremy. And that jerk started screaming.

"WILL YOU STOP FREAKING ME OUT, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE IM DRIVING".

"Fine". And there sulking daddy.

UGHH....

But why Alessandro is so quiet. After all he should at least say sorry for all this mess.

We reached his mansion and were welcomed by Mac with a hug and smiling face. He just make me feel home. I wish I had a dad like him.

We all settled for the living room. But Uncle George doesn't feel settled.

"Your son can't marry Jasmine, he created all this mess, tell him to pull his act together".

"As we have a situation here and we need to calm down before taking any decisions. Why not we talk over some drinks?" Well, with his so welcoming and let's become buddy look Uncle George went with him for discussion.

Leaving sulking me, Excited Jeremy, Irritated Vanessa and pretending to be Mr. Cool, unaffected, jerk , .....

"I have an idea, if this whole ordeal is about my name in the project. I can just change my name, problem solved".

"NO". That was first thing that came out of Alessandro's mouth tonight and he looked like he will kill me or anyone else who agreed to change my name.

I was just thinking after our interaction may be his attraction towards me has come to a hold after today's fight. But he is obsessed as ever.

"So, are we going to talk about the contract or not. I have already talked to Mac about it. And he is cool with it. And my dad will also agree to it, I guess. But the papers will be ready after wedding only".

"Why? Mr. Alessandro might have some great connections to make it soon I guess and marriage is not the only option in my opinion. "

"It's the only option actually". And here is the rude reply without any emotion on his face from Mr. Vampire. That definitely pulled some robes in my brain.

"Why don't you use your super powers on the villain team"? Alessandro was rolling his eyes, Van looks confused I forgot to tell her, and Jeremy had a weird expression.

"Dude, you told her?"

"No, but she have seen it in work and thinks I'm a vampire". And he was smiling at my face like he adores my silliness. Jerk.

"Halloo, if you don't mind can you tell me what are you guys talking about!?"

" it's just a device which can be used to left weight or kind of triggers only a specific space which is directed with a motion to neutralize the gravity for while or till we want".

Blinking. Blinking. Blinking. With crickets chirping and calmness of the night. I can even hear the heartbeats of four of us.

"Did I ask the wrong question?" Van was like in trauma with the sudden overwhelming information. And she wants me to marry him.

"No, Van. It's just we can't understand his language at times right Sandro." and Jeremy was glaring at him.

"Tomorrow you are getting married to him dear". And that was George with a sad and tensed face with Mac trying hard not to show his.

"We thought it was day after tomorrow?" Yes Van, me too. If possible not at least until I become 25.

"We can't extend it because they are legally moving with a different mindset, they are accusing Alessandro of forcing Jasmine and used her as to promote his project. And because his project blueprints were send before she turned eighteen it will be hard for us to fight back. And if Jasmine gets married to Alessandro, we can claim that they got married because they loved each other from childhood, so the name of the project." hhhaa??

"And Jasmine needs to be under 24 hours protection because they may try to get all the information regarding with project through blackmail Sandro"

"I know all this mess and situation is because of my son and I promise it will be soon solved but right now we needed to fix and solve the problem of Jasmine's security. And a deal will be signed between Sandro and Jasmine to keep this marriage official but it can be only provided tomorrow evening after the marriage"

"I hope, everyone agrees to this". To which everyone nodded, including me. I mean what else I can say on a situation so uptight.

"But if you touch Jas I will kill you". That was Uncle George. To which Alessandro whispered. "I won't, Sir, until she wants me too". That definitely surprised all of us. He real does have guts to say that.

"You better don't son. Even, if she want it or not". And Mac pulled glaring George with him to the backyard.

And Alessandro left for his room with a dangerous look on his face.

I can't help but wonder if it's going to be a dramatic married life with a zero career. I want to runway from here but now I know, more worse things are waiting outside if I do. So if its Alessandro is what life is throwing at me, I'm gonna grab it and try to breathe with it until I'm free from this mess.

I can't wait to get married with that Nerd.
