"Yo what happened to her, you need to get to explaining NOW! It's been 3 fucking days!" Jax heard East yell at someone. '3 days?' She thought. She could hear everything but she didn't open her eyes. "I-I lost her in the party I didn't know someone was gonna do that to her!!" Eliza screamed back at him with tears rolling down her cheeks. Jax fluttered her eyes open and tried to look at her surroundings. A bright light beamed into her eyes and she realized that she was in the hospital. When she tried to sit up,  a very sharp pain shot through her shoulder. "owwwweee what the fuck?" East & Eliza looked back at her. East immediately ran to her aid. "J .. you good? I'm so sorry I let this happen to you yo .. I promise I won't let you out my sight again" she didn't say anything. She was in so much pain. "What happened east? I wanna go home." East looked back at Eliza and then at her again. "You tell her since it was your fault. You always dragging her somewhere she didn't need to be" he Spat. Eliza looked at jax through her red eyes as she spoke. " somebody spiked your drink when you weren't looking and ... you got shot in your arm when they started shooting." Jax gasped. She didn't even know how she ended up like this. She doesn't remember a thing. She just sat confused and angry that she let this happen. "There's more. Talk" East said simply. Eliza dreaded what she was about to say. Jax was gonna be so mad. "While everyone was panicking, I called the ambulance.. and I had one of my friends take your car to your house to get your brother because he wasn't answering the phone. I didn't know she was that drunk Jax I'm so sorry .. she crashed your car." Jax had to sit there and take that all in. She got shot. Her car was crashed by somebody she didn't know. It was all so much. She knew after this it was time for a major change. "East when can I go home? I'm over this shit already" " you were in a coma for three days j .. you're just now waking up so you're probably gonna be here for a few more." She had so many questions that remained unanswered. She wanted to pry but this wasn't the right time. "Can I talk to my brother alone?" She directed towards Eliza. "Sure, my momma waiting on me anyway.. I'll check on you later" when the door shut she looked at East. "I need answers East". He wasn't so sure sure himself. "I don't trust Eliza bruh. She ain't acting right. She told me she lost you but how fucking Easy is that lie?" Jax rolled her eyes. " I'm mad as fuck that my car is gone but she was trying to help me East." He had enough. She was gonna see one way or another. " we fucked the night of the party, if she's telling you that we're done. We weren't. But now we are for sure" Jax just sighed hard. She didn't blame her brother because of their past but since she lied about something that simple, it made her wonder what else she lied about. She knew to walk on eggshells with her now. They heard they door unlock as the nurse walked in. "Good afternoon Ms. Jax, how are you feeling?" She said as she sat a tray down in front of her. 'Like shit' she muttered. East looked at her. "I'm okay, just in pain from this unexpected wound". The Nurse set down the tray with chicken tenders, macaroni, and mashed potatoes. She also had a bottled water with two pills in the side. "I'm gonna change your bandages and have you take some medicine. We would have to keep you another night but if you react well then you should be out of here by tomorrow" she smiled sweetly.  When she began to pull back the gauze, Jax winced at the skin being pulled. She dressed the bullet hole and replaced the bloody gauze with a fresh one. She then began to wrap it up. "Is there anything else you need?" East shook his head. "no ma'am I'll take it from here" he said. 

When she walked out the door Winnie had walked in. He had just heard the news and wanted to see what happened. "J wassup?" He said as he hugged her lightly, making sure to not hurt her. "I just heard what happened this morning you straight?" He pressed. " I'm okay Win.. don't really want to talk about it" He nodded to say he understood. "Where were you ?" She asked. He looked at East for a split second then finally spoke. "I was at home with my pops..I had to set something up. I'm just glad you're okay." Jax looked off. "Me too man" "When do you get out of here?" "Tomorrow if all else goes well" she picked at the tenders. "Well I've got somewhere to go, so I'll catch you later. Hit my phone aight chump?" He began to walk to the door. "Can do captain" she joked. East stood up from his chair & stretched. She noticed he had on pajamas. "You never left did you?" She said quietly. She was so devastated about everything that had happened. She didn't listen to him & she was just waiting for him to say I told you so. "I've got to make some calls since you're up now, get some rest JB" Only he called her then when he wanted to get on her nerves. She did as she was told and slouched down in the bed. She wasn't too hungry for the hospital food. She really wanted some wings. She watched the tv until she slowly drifted off to sleep. Outside of the door East wasn't lying when he said he was making a call. "Yo? Man look I want the 10/4 on these niggas aight? I want every single name and address as soon as possible. Come up here to the hospital and watch J while I run out. We gone get them niggas soon, that's my great word" he hung up. He sat in the lobby quietly on his phone waiting. About 10 minutes had passed until Mir showed up. Had dapped East up and sat beside him. "What you bout to go do bro?" He said as he sat down. "Handle some business. I'm getting a hit out on these niggas and I'm tryna expose this lil thot Bitch J be hanging with. I can't trust her as far as I can throw her ass" Mir rubbed his chin. "What you saying she got something to do with this shit?" "Nah bro but it's something fishy about her and I'm gone figure it out. Even if I gotta keep hitting her" Mir just laughed at East. He really was an asshole. "Aight man keep an eye on J I won't be too long" East said as he stood up. He wanted to get himself right and get his day started. There were things to do.  Mir walked inside Jax's room to find her fidgeting wit her hospital bracelet. She didn't even notice him come in. "How you doing?" She looked up at him. "What are you doing here? Where's East?" He sat down in the chair that east sat in for days without leaving her side. She felt so bad knowing she went behind his back. "Chill he went to go change his clothes. He's been here ever since you have. I'm on babysitting duty" he leaned back in the chair and began typing on his phone. 'He looks so good' she thought to herself. "I don't need a babysitter. I'm good." He didn't even look at her. "You can go now boy!" "My name is RaMir, since you didn't catch it at the store" he winked at her. She just rolled her eyes. She wasn't finna play with him. "So you like girls huh? I heard you was with some girl at the party before the shit went down." Jax felt as if he was asking for his own reasons but he really was trying to jog her memory for East's sake. "I've had my fair share" she said simply. She didn't feel like talking about her sexuality with him, or anyone at all. That would just be more unnecessary attention on her. "Alright .. well may I ask what happened? I'd rather hear your side than anyone else's." She looked at him with a straight face. "I barely remember anything. I was drinking" she sighed. He couldn't even say anything else because Jay Rock had walked in. Jax smiled at him, not feeling like moving her arms. "Sis you good? East told me the news, so I thought I'd drop by." He said to her. He just nodded towards Mir & Mir nodded back. She wondered what was up with them. Jay rock sat on the edge of her bed. And pinched her toe. "Fuck you doing at a party like that, should whoop yo ass girl" "Shut up" she laughed. "No but forreal I'm glad you straight" When she looked at him she noticed something different in his eyes. But she brushed it off. "Do y'all know why East is so crazy about Liza?" Mir looked off and Jay scratched his neck. " ion know, she is a little sus but ion pay attention to that lil girl" jay said. Jax didnt know what was so suspect about her. But what was meant for her to know she will know. She couldn't even sleep without thinking about what happened. As the hours went past Mir had brought Jax some food from Buffalo Wild Wings since that was what she was craving. They made small talk and Jax even took an hour nap. While she was asleep the nurse came and checked her out again. Shortly after East had made his way back to the hospital. It was now 11p.m. "She gave you trouble?" East asked him. He knew how she acting around people she didn't know well. Little did he know. "At first but she good bruh" they dapped each other up. "Be easy man, I'll hit you" East said. Mir left to go home and East got comfortable for the last time. He was ready for this shit to be over with and for Jax to get better. Shit was gonna be different this time around and he meant that this time. He was so close to losing Jax.
