Chapter 1

Jax was the girl everybody dreamed about, she was gorgeous, smart, & just the slightest bit naive, but she had her own. 19 with her own car, her own money ? I mean what else could she ask for? Being that there's less than 6 months until she graduates, she is more focused now than ever. But that's all gonna change. In school she only has 2 real friends, Eliza and Winnie. She's been friends with them since the 7th grade even though Eliza is one grade Below them both.

Although Jax basically has life made, there's was always one thing that bothered her when it was brought up, her parents. She hadn't seen her mother since she was very young and her father was distant . He'd check in and then she wouldn't hear from him for days .. sometimes weeks! But her brother has been taking care of her ever since. "What you thinking about?" Eliza asked her. "Nothin I'm tryna figure out how to do this dumb ass project for Mr. Ajae" she scrunched her face up . Eliza looked at her funny. "You really finna do that shit?" 😂 She laughed. "Better get Shoe Shine to do it for you" she nodded over towards him.
When she looked over Zay was all into his book. Shoe shine was his nickname because that was one boy who took his sneakers seriously. He had on a different pair everyday almost. Nobody really talked to him because of what happened last year, but that's a whole other story. When the bell rang to go home the halls filled with teenagers eager about their weekend. It was Friday and there was a party the next day. Eliza was ready but Jax? Not so much. She'd go to a party but they didn't really excite her. Anything for Eliza though.

The two Waited for Winnie in the student parking lot. He parks beside Jax everyday so they can leave at the same time. When he finally walked up he looked angry. "Why the fuck you looking like that Win?" Jax said . He shot daggers at Eliza but only she could notice. "Don't sweat it im just ready to go" he said rushing into the drivers seat. "Want me to ride wit-" "Na I'm not following y'all today, gone head" he cut Eliza off. Jax looked between the both of them still clueless. "You acting like a hoe but whatever" Eliza spat. The girls got in the car and left. They decided to shop some for the party.
"Why you being so quiet?" Eliza looked up from her phone. "Win just blew mine like the hell is wrong with him, I didn't do shit" Jax was surprised a little bit. The three were friends but Eliza and Winnie were never that close so she didn't see why she was so mad and his attitude but she just brushed it off. When they made it back to her house, they went in her room and just decided to chill. The plan was for Eliza to stay the night but Jax wasn't feeling her vibe. " Bitch I know you're not still mad, you acting like y'all fucking or something !?" Eliza rolled her eyes. " Nobody said that bitch but stop acting like he wasn't being stupid as fuck" Jax waved her off and got her clothes out for the shower. When Eliza heard the water running she Called somebody. "Hello?"....."What you mean why I keep texting you!? You know why!...You making shit hot!"......"both of y'all know what the fuck is gonna happen if Jax find out the truth about this party so I suggest you watch your mouth when you talking to me!" She whisper-yelled. Jax's Doorknob started turning so she quickly hung up the phone. It was her brother, "fuck yo young ass doing here, where J?" he looked at her while she was typing on her phone . "You wasn't saying that last year hoe and she's in the shower" He gave her a stank look. She stood up & strolled over to him. "why you act like that now? Like you too good for me?"
Jax's brother Easton (aka East) and Eliza used to mess around last year when Her and Jax had fell out, They fucked a few times but it was never a public thing. Jax thinks they only used to flirt. East would never take it there considering she's not even a senior and he graduated 4 years before her. "Listen, you need to chillout. You know Jax is not going for that shit, & neither am I" he moved her hands off of him. "All that shit done and over wit" Eliza knew she couldn't make a scene so she pushed him. " Fuck you East" she started to pack her shit and looked out the window. An all black Camaro sat across the street from the house. From here you couldn't see who was driving. She bumped him when she walked out "Watch this tho" She said to herself.
East watched her walk out the front door, & sure as hell she got into that Camaro & sped off. Eliza Thought she was slick but East heard everything she was saying on the phone. He walked in on purpose to see what she would do and now he knows that she is being sneaky. But he had something for her also. He slipped out of Jax's room hearing her music play on her loud speaker in her bathroom, knowing she didn't hear what just happened he texted Winnie.

"Yo bro what you on tomorrow night?" - 3:34 p.m.

Luh Bro 👿 - Shit moe imma hit this party up, you kno it's Dre birthday weekend and shit. Popout. - 3:35 p.m.

"you know ion even be on the scene but I've been sniffing & it smell like some funny shit goin on. I might slide tho" - 3:40 p.m.

He didn't text back.

East never played when it came to Jax, their parents did the shittiest job so he stepped up and made sure she didn't have to struggle. Eliza was sneaky and he knew that since last year, Jax believes that the length of a friendship determines the quality but he knows when some shit is up. And he was going to get to the bottom of it.
Jax had finally gotten out of the shower and looked around for Eliza. She walked down the hall to her brothers room and peeked in, he was playing the game. "Liza left?" he didn't even look back at her . "yeah that dumb bitch left, why are you still hanging with her?" Jax was taken aback, she knew they didn't favor each other anymore but he didn't think it was that deep. " East shut up you always talking shit and you used to like her, I asked you one simple question" " I asked you one too the fuck! Last time I checked I pay the bills in this bitch, and I'm telling you that you are going to stop hanging around that hoe" he paused 2k and stood up to face her. " I know about that party tomorrow and another thing I know is that you're not going. So you might as well take the outfit back where you got it from. I don't know where the hell you thought you was wearing that to anyway." He brushed past her and went out the door. Jax went back into her room and got dressed, East pisses her off so bad and she knows that once he makes his mind up, it's made. So she's gonna have to find a way to go to the party without him knowing . She texted Eliza to see what was up with her. She didn't even say bye.

"Bitch why you scat without saying shit 🖕🏾" - 4:18 p.m.

Best Bitch ❤️👯‍♀️ - "had to set some things up, I'll be back tomorrow before the party I'll ttyl ! 💚" - 4:50 p.m.

"This hoe" Jax thought, she wasn't even geeked about the party but now that East didn't want her to go, it sparked an interest. Since she was off today,she just turned on Netflix and decided to roll a blunt, she really didn't have any plans for today and it was Friday, lame right? " Damn I don't even have a gar" she said to no one in particular. She grabbed her house keys, slipped on her shoes and walked to the store since it was just down the block. It was a little chilly out but since they were in Georgia it didn't get too cold. When she got inside she grabbed a twister juice and went to the counter. It was a new lady.

"Hey can I have a pack of Berry Fusion Dutches?" She peeked behind the counter like she doesn't get the same thing every time. "Can I see your id?" The lady said simply. Jax looked at her. "I'm sorry I come here everyday I know you're new but-" "I'm sorry honey I can't help you if you don't have an ID, would you just like the drink?" She cut her off rudely. "bitch-" Jax started. "huh, I got it shorty" A voice from behind said and slid his Id on the table. She looked back & she didn't regret it. Dude was fine as hell. "I'm sorry but if she doesn't have her id then I can't sell it to you either" the lady smiled again. Mystery dude pulled a 20 out his pocket. "Oh I forgot I had it, there you go" he said slyly. He grabbed the rellos and walked out of the store. Jax hesitated but followed him. "Hey wait, I thought those were mine" she half yelled since he was ahead.

He turned around and looked at her with a smirk. "just seeing if I had a chance real quick" he licked his lips. "You don't" She slid the pack out his hands and turned around to walk back to her house. "Oh word it's like that?!" He said. She kept walking. "That's cool don't worry bout nothing!" He yelled since she was farther down the road. Jax just kept walking with a grin on her face. "Damnnn I hope I see that face again" she thought to herself. She quickly shook the thought out of her head. East had every nigga she had come a across shook and she knew it wouldn't even end welll, right now she's focused on her and her only.
