So after a bunch of classes, it was finally lunch time.

I spent the day, getting pelted with dodge balls,  pushed into lockers, tripped, made fun of, and a lot more.

Did I care?...not really.

I walked oyt to the court yard, and sat under s tree, listening to my I-pod.

I closed my eyes, getting lost in the lyrics..until I felt a presence near me.

I looked to see it was that guy...with the eyes.

Of course I put away my I-pod so I did't seam rude at all, he was just looking at me though, weird?

"You never told me your name."  There goes that voice again.

It made my stomach do weird things.

"Uh, Lucky...Scott." He nodded. "I'm Austin Brady."

Austin...it fit him.

I just nodded, looking forward not many people weren't outside but those who were looking at us like we were crazy. Probably thinking 'what the heck is he doing talking to that loser!?'

I was kind of thinking the same thing. He just looked at me.

It was kind of creepy, he didn't say anything for a while.

"Why is your name Lucky?" There goes that voice again!

I bit at my lip thinking of the most honest answer I could come up with. "Uh...My mom thought she was happy when she had me, and a few years later she found out she wasn't, and now she makes my life hell." I said with a shrug dismissing how much pain it actually felt admitting that out loud, and hoping he wouldn't see it either. "Well, I think your name suits you." Are we really talking about names right now?

I mean, are we seriously talking about names?

"I don't suppose you want to sit here talking about names, so lets talk about something else."

He sat back against the tree, his shoulder brushing mine.

"Why did you talk to me this morning?"

"Why are you talking to me now?"

I shot back at him, waiting for his answer.  He smirked at me, his emerald green eyes sparkling. "I asked you first." I sighed, running a hand through my curls. "You were different." He looked at me expecting more. "You knew that just by, me helping you up?" I shook my head, "I knew that by looking in your eyes." I said gazing into his eyes.

"I'm talking to you because your different." He said copying my answer. "You knew that how?" I asked, turning so my attention was fully on him.

"I knew that, because your eyes...and your honest."  A smile appeared onto my face.

A real smile, I don't know why...but it was there. "Well, thanks I guess." He nodded with a free grin of his own. "I hope to see you, later Lucky." I nodded, and he got up, walking away right when the bell rung.

As he walked away...I hoped I would see more of him too.
