Since I have a Water Book spell, is it a good idea to check inside the giant anthole. Well yes... and no.

Before I enter the pit, I left a column of rope hanging on the wooden platform so it is easier to get in/out of the pit. In there, there are ores and fossils to dig on. I tried to get the fossils but it won't break. I need to get a better pickaxe, copper wasn't the best but it's better than nothing. The captain of the ship should give me something better than a set of copper tools.

There are a lot of chargers and swarmers below me. This is the time to use the spellbook. The bolts are not fast, yet can penetrate and bounce walls so it's likely to deal damage to more than one enemy with it. It can be useful in the dungeon in the future though because of the narrow pathways. Although great, some survived and able to counter. Mind the tomb raiders. They're as - more actually - annoying as devourers in the corruption.

Now since I kind of deal off these things, I started looking for ore veins and treasure. The best one is the extractinator. Sure the band of regeneration is nice but I have some slush back at my base, and I'll grab some fossils lying around later if I could break it. I also have enough tungsten to make a full set of armor. Makes me feel I'm combat-ready. Although my family defeated the bosses back at my island, I have a feeling that the bosses are harder to defeat in this island because of the buffed mobs in here. I should be more alert. I was thinking of beating the Eye of Cthulhu or Eater of Worlds later anyway.

Sorry for the wait. School started and slowed me down. From now on, I'll make new entries on Fri, Sat, and Sun. This will end on late March or early April since that when the summer vacation starts.
