I Love You

Chapter 2

Edd got up with a sigh and started changing into cloths for the day. He decided on some light gray jeans and a gray tank top with a black sweater. He put on his socks and his black and white converse. He took off his black beanie, which has two white stripes running down both sides, and combed his hair. His hair was up to his neck and was jet black. Double D had gorgeous hair but he never showed it, he always hid it under his beanie.

Kevin was in his kitchen table eating cereal while looking at the mail. He looked through the letters but all he saw was bills and junk mail. He threw them on the table as he got up to put his bowl in the sink.

He went to his room and threw on some black jeans and a gray tank top along with his old combat boots. He put on his red hat and went to his garage. He opened the garage door and took out his bike. He had gotten it his freshmen year of high school with money he had been saving up for a while. He went into his garage to get his tool box, when he came back to his bike he saw Edd coming out of his house. 'I wonder were he's off to.' Kevin thought as he once again caught himself starring at Edd. "God I have to stop doing that." He said to himself then went on to fix his motorcycle.

Edd noticed Kevin fixing his bike and immediately started blushing and looked away quickly hoping Kevin hadn't seen him. Edd walked a little faster hoping to get out of Kevin's sight. He was walking a little too fast, though, for the sidewalks liking and decided to trip him. He landed on his front with a loud thud. Kevin heard and looked up quick. He got up and ran to Double D hoping he wasn't hurt too bad.

Edd laid there in pain for a few seconds before getting up on his knees. He noticed someone's footsteps getting closer and closer, he looked back and saw Kevin rushing over. 'Ohh no. He saw and now he's probably coming over just to laugh at me.' He thought to himself, feeling sad.

"Hey Dork. You alright?" Kevin asked concerned. 'Did Kevin just ask about my well being?' Edd asked himself shocked. "Umm y-yes I'm quite alright Kevin. Thank you." He said a little nervous. "Dude no you're not you got blood on your chin and your cheek is scraped up pretty bad too." He said trying not to sound to concerned. Edd looked down at his hands and noticed the blood, as did Kevin. "Woe you got messed up pretty bad with that fall. C'mon let's go get you cleaned up." Kevin said helping Edd up. "That's alright Kevin i'll clean up alone." He said before he winced then noticed Kevin poking at his bleeding chin. "C'mon dork let me help." Kevin said sounding very sweet. Edd sighed. "Alright Kevin, you win."

They got inside Edd's house, Kevin told him to sit on the couch then asked where he kept the first aid kit. "I-it's in the upstairs bathroom." Edd said still a little shaky not so much from the fall but because of Kevin's reaction to it.

Kevin came back down after a bit. He sat down next to Edd and put his leg up on the couch as he turned to face the bleeding Edd sitting next to him. "This might sting a little." He said before dabbing Edd's cheek with the cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol. Edd winced as he felt the sting on his cheek. "S-sorry!" Kevin apologized as he kept cleaning Edd's face. Once he was done, he covered the cuts with band aids.

"Give me your hands." Kevin said. "W-what!?" a very red faced Edd asked. "So I can clean them." Kevin replied noticing what he had just said and blushed. "Ohh a-alright" Edd hesitated a bit but let Kevin clean his palms. 'Wow his hands are softer than I though.' Edd thought to himself still blushing. 'I wish I could hold his hands when ever I wanted to...' Kevin thought a little sad.

Edd winced as Kevin cleaned his palm. When he was done he put some band aids on his palms not noticing he was still holding Edd's hand after he was done. "Uhh K-Kevin?" Edd said blushing hard. Kevin noticed he was still holding Edd's hand and let go fast with a hard blush.

"W-well I gotta go dork. I'm still fixing my bike." Kevin said leaving as quickly as he possibly could. "Ohh, alright...bye." Edd said sadly to himself as Kevin had already left.

After a while Edd went upstairs and changed into a loose blue and gray horizontal striped sweat shirt. He once again left and headed to the store. He got a few things for himself to eat throughout the week.

He started walking home with his bags in hand. It was around five or six when he got home. Kevin was no longer outside with his bike. Edd was a little disappointed but continued on to his house. He sighed. "God I made the biggest fool of myself today." He spoke to himself as he closed the door and rest his forehead on it for a while.

Edd went up to his room after putting away the food he had bought. He felt really stupid after what happened earlier. He felt the need to see blood. He started crying and thinking about his life and all the things that he'd gone through. He went to the bathroom and filled his need to see blood. He was calm as can be while he did so, but time he didn't clean his arms he just got in the shower and let the cold water run down his body.

After his shower he went to bed he didn't want to think about anything anymore. He wanted to stop feeling. He couldn't sleep though he stayed awake 'till two in the morning. When he finally got to sleep he had a dream. It was about Kevin. It was a great dream and Double D smiled in his sleep.

"Edd...I..." Kevin said very nervous. Edd looked puzzled as he took a bite of his sandwich. Kevin and him were on a hill having a nice picnic. "What is it Kevin" Edd asked curiously. "I..." he said trying to get courage to say those three words that would make Edd very happy. "I r-really like these sandwiches you made they're great..." He backed down. He didn't want to hear rejection from the one he loved. Kevin scooted towards Edd trying to get another sandwich. Edd noticed and looked at him, he had a slight smile on his face. Kevin knocked over the water he had in a cup and tried to pick up the glass but his hand slipped on it. Edd laughed a laugh that gave Kevin butterflies, he loved Edd's laugh. "S-stop laughing dork." Kevin said with a blush getting back up with his now wet shirt. He had landed on the little puddle the water had made. "H-how can I p-possibly stop laughing." Edd said in between laughs. "Whatever." Kevin said and looked away, but he was still blushing. "Ohh come on now Kevin, it was cute." Edd said then blushed. 'Ohh dear, I must learn to keep myself from saying my thought out loud. Now he'll think I'm a creep and leave.' Edd though. Kevin looked at Edd. He was blushing. Kevin took Edd face in his hand and turned his head to face him. Kevin leaned in and kissed him passionately. Edd couldn't believe what was happening, but he was too happy. He went along with it.
