I Love You

Chapter 5

Kevin didn't sleep much that night. He couldn't stop thinking about Edd.

"Hey Kevin, you look horrible." Nat said as he approached Kevin who was entering the school building. "Yea, I didn't get much sleep last night." Kevin said in a tired voice. "What was on your mind last night mister?" Nat asked with a mischievous grin on his face.

A nervous smile grew on Kevin's face. "Uhh n-nothing, Nat." He laughed falsely. "Um ok?"

Kevin spent most of the school day thinking about Edd and about how he should handle things. He thought maybe he should do something nice to show Edd that he was serious when he asked him to be with him. Kevin wasn't really a romantic type of person. He never showed his lovey side to anyone, except for Nat and Nazz.

"Hey Nazz." Kevin said as he walked up to her. "Hey Kev, what's up?" "Do you think you could help me with something?" He asked nervously. "Sure thing dude! What do you need?" She asked with enthusiasm. "I'll tell you later It's something I don't want anyone to know about." "Ohh, alright." She said with a smile. "I'll see ya later." He said as he walked away waving to her. "Bye."

On his way home, Kevin texted Edd. "Hey" He waited impatiently for a reply. "Hello" The text came after about five minutes. "Do you want to come over later?" Kevin was unsure if he should press the send button or erase the message. After a while of debating he sent it.

By the time he got home he hadn't gotten a reply. He felt as if he was going to throw up. He was too nervous.

"Yea, sure. At what time?" Kevin felt relief when he read this. He had a huge grin on his face. "How about around 6?" "Ok"

Kevin was too happy. He couldn't keep his excitement in. He started punching the air and jumping up and down in joy. Then he realized. "Aww crap! I have nothing ready for him!"

Kevin groaned "Man. God damn it. Why. Ugh. No." He sighed. "I'm horrible." He said plainly. "I can't even cook the simplest things. I'm a failure." He said with a surrendered look on his face.

"Naaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzz" Kevin texted. A few moments later there was a reply. "Whaaaaaaaaat?" "I need help ;-;" "With?" "Just come over please ;-; ill love u 5evr <3" "Alright fine...is this about that favor thing from earlier?" "Yess sorta c:" "Ok"

After a while there was a knock on the door. Kevin went to open it. "Hey Nazz! Come in." He practically dragged her in.

"So what do you need Kev?" She asked. "W-well you see...um...I sorta kinda asked out Edd..." He said nervously. "...and i don't know what to make for him to eat." She stared at him blankly for a few seconds. "Um, Nazz?"

"Ok" He texted Kevin. He felt butterflies in his stomach, he couldn't stop smiling.

"Ohh geez, what will I wear? I know he probably doesn't care, but I want to look presentable!" He said to himself.

There's a knock at the door. "Hmm?" Another knock. 'I wonder who it could be..' Edd thought to himself.

He went to open the door, but when he got about five feet from it someone spoke. "Hey, sockhead, open up, its me, eddy." "And me, Ed!"

Edd opened it. "Hey Double D I got an idea for a scam that can score us some major mula!" Eddy said with enthusiasm. "Sorry Eddy, but I have plans for today already set." Edd said sounding somewhat nervous. "Ohh really? And what is it that you have to do today sockhead?" Eddy asked annoyed. "J-just...things." "Awwww, but Double D, it'll be fun." Ed said with puppy dog eyes. "I'm sorry Ed, but I really can't today." "You're such a bore you know?" "Yes Eddy I am aware."

After Ed and Eddy left Edd went up to his room to change. He put in a red button up shirt, black jeans, and a brown cardigan.
