I've never really been a fan of writing down my feelings or reciting how my days has gone but mum says it might be good for me, so here i go.

My day, it started off like every other day- waking up just after the crack of dawn only to get up, have breakfast get dressed into my normal white blouse, black skirt that stopped just above my knees, black stockings, black combat boots and to pull off my signature look my favourite navy blue and purple stripped tie.

Quickly walking through my small house I made my way toward the kitchen, quickly saying hi to my mum-who stood in the corner drinking her coffee, her blue uniform on already. she reminded me how she was going to be working late tonight so I have to make dinner, before kissing me on the forehead and giving me an apple telling me; 'run along or you'll be late.'

Doing as she said, I quickly grabbed my bag- I made my way out of the door and towards the the nearest bus station. Not long did my bus take to arrive, I gave him the 50 cents before walking down to the row just in front of the back.

I took my seat nearest to the window, and i just gaze out, looking out into the world outside. The clouds a dark grey, I feared it might have bucked down right at that moment.

A tap on my shoulder, frightened me- to be honest that made me jump a bit. It turned out only to be Sierra or as I and some others like to call her 'Skippy'- long story short due to a skipping incident gone wrong in the 3rd grade, shes been stuck with the name ever since...

Skippy sat down in the seat beside me, dropping her bag also. Out of everyone of my friends, Skippy is my favourite, I don't exactly know why- maybe it's the way i feel like I need to look out for her the way she tries to look out for me, or maybe its in her eyes- how beautiful and enchanting they are, or maybe it's in the way when shes frustrated to calm her down she goes for walks, or maybe how every time I'm around her my heart seems to go 100 miles per hour.

'Happy birthday Skippy,' I managed to say to her, loud enough for her to hear as the bus drove on down the road towards the next bus stop.

It didn't take long to get to school from after Skippy's stop, I felt a bit disappointed- knowing our journey would end soon, having to go to school and no longer just be with her, but I got use to that feeling.

Once we got to the stop at our school, we walked off the bus but not before giving the bus driver a quick 'Thank you' before leaving.

Meeting up with our friends, they all over whelm Skippy with Happy birthdays- Joey wrapping his arm around her shoulder, pulling her into a hug before letting go. The other two greeted her- Frankie also giving Skippy a warm hug, and Molly greeting her with fist pump.

The rest of the day went on as any normal school day, i went to my classes, did my work, tried to seem okay, sat with Skippy and the gang at lunch, then before i knew it was the end of the day and we we're standing outside of the new park they had just built. I was amazed, i had never seen anything more beautiful than it... scratch that- i have not seen a place as beautiful as this.

Skippy raced a head of us, looking more happier than ever- this made my heart melt... God do I love seeing her this happy- a smile had crept it's way onto my face.

The rest of us, catch up to the energetic redhead who leaped her way through the grounds- sounds of giggles made their way out of her lips and into the air..... wow i didn't know how poetic i could be.. but anyways- walking through the park, we past couples who cuddled up to each other and enjoyed being close, families who bickered and laughed, and friends who acted like total weirdos but in a good way.

After a while of just walking, we finally found a nice spot to lay down the picnic blanket, and gathered the food from our bags.

We ate, and enjoyed each others company. Not long was it until Joey came up with the amazing idea to have a game of Frisbee, at first i didn't like the idea- to be honest I don't consider myself a very sporty person, but after short while of convincing I decided to join in.

The game went on, and slowly turned into a game of piggy in the middle with Skippy being in the middle.

Slowly by slowly we laid on the ground, looking up to the sky- we gazed at the clouds that had once been a gloomy grey, but had turned it's self more clearer. we spent hours at that park- eating, playing Frisbee, describing what we could see in the clouds- but sadly it had to end.

We packed up, and left- I walking to the bus stop in front of the school with Skippy. I hate waiting for the bus, especially after school.

The bus came just on time, we got, on payed the bus driver and took our seats at the back. soon we got to Skippy's stop- my heart felt like it had dropped to my stomach, I don't know why every time we have to separate i always feel this, its not like I'm gay right... right?

I gave her a quick ' bye' before she left. I was lonely on the rest of the ride home, but after a little over an hour the bus stopped at the bus stop down the road from my house.

i got off after saying 'Thank you' and walked home, as i had remembered from this morning my mum was surely was working late.

I guess I don't have any thing else to write for what happened for when i got home, all i did was make dinner, do home work and played the waiting game- me waiting for my mum to come home...

for next time,

Kayla.
