Meer Veera was now a pretty four year girl. She grew more fond of weapons and learnt archery in the palace, whereas her brother's were now studying in the Gurukula under the guidance of Acharya Raghava.
Veera unlike the other girls of her age was not fond of playing with crockery sets or dressing up dolls.
She was inspired by listening to the bravery acts of her grandfather Rana Sangha,Rana Khetha and others from her mother Maharani Jaiwantabai.
Veera was determined to be a warrior to protect Rajputana.
The Maharani played a great role in making both Pratap and Veera Patriots and respectful.
Veera being the only princess was bedecked with precious jewellery and clothes by her family but she would dress up in simple clothes and draw everyone's attention towards her elegence.Every morning of Veera's started with her brother Pratap's smile. She admired her brother a lot and could not resist being away from him.
When it was first decided that Pratap and Shakti would be sent to the Gurukula and an year later Sagar would leave for the Gurukula.Veera broke down to hysterical tears, she was not ready to send her brother apart from herself ,not that day or any day later.
She finally agreed after being promised by the Rana that she could join her brother's three years later.
Veera trained and spent her time with her mother learning and gaining more knowledge about the world and the greatness of their ancestors.
Kunwar Pratap was excellent in sword fighting and archery.Guru Raghava sent a letter to the Rana that all the prince's are doing well and his heir prince was exceptional.
He further wrote that Pratap had won an archery competition in the Gurukula. The news spread in the palace and Veera was more than delighted to hear her brother's success story, she went around the palace hoarding about it and when she was near the ChotiRani Dheerbai Bhattiyani's room she overheard her screaming,"Pratap, Pratap a son like him is every mother's dream but his downfall will be my son's fame".
Veera froze in her spot,Rani Bhattiyani's words had just carved themselves in Veera's soul.
Later that day when the royal family was having dinner,Veera witnessed her Chotimaa Rani Bhattiyani distributing sweets in Pratap's name.Veera's little brain could not process the happenings for she knew that her brother loved everyone immensely and trusted them,he was like a person with no dark spot for anyone and especially loved his Chotimaa since his childhood.
Veera decided that it was her duty to stand by her brother and the throne of Mewar.....Hey ,so now the story has some pace after all the characters have 🐝 n introduced.
