Carry on, Cather (a fangirl continuation)

Chapter 2

(Levi's POV)

The truck jerked up and down as we sped along the country roads towards my parents house, Cather had been quiet throughout the whole journey and I was beginning to think this was a bad idea. I took my hand of the steering g wheel and took hold of her hand in an attempt to make her less nervous, it didn't work.

"Cather my parents already love you I read them some of your writing and they think your very talented you don't need to be worried I promise"

She looked up from staring at her knees to look at me "I know I know I'm just stupid like that I'm get really nervous over thinks that I don't need to be" she said

"Stop being so harsh on yourself" I replied as we turned off the road and into the driveway of my parents house "wer're here" I said cheerfully looking at Cather, she pulled a false smile at me.

We got out the car and I took her hand and led her to the front door, my mum opened the door before either of us could even reach out for the doorbell. She swung the door open and pulled me into a tight embrace and kissed me slippery on the forehead. Next it was catchers turn she pulled her into her embrace and before I could stop her kissed her on the forehead. I managed to retrieve Cather from her grip and put my arm around her waist.

"Cather I've heard so much about you please come in Levi showed me some of your writing and I love it" she said

Cather blushed intensely as we entered the house and walked into the kitchen, the sweet smell of lasagne filled the room.

"Make yourself at home Cather, your welcome here any time" my mum said and Cather smile a real genuine smile instead of a forced smile to hide she nerves.

"Levi, show Cather around the house"

"Sure" I replied and took cather's hand and led her around the downstairs showing where everything she needed was, when we reached the stairs Cather unhooked her hand from mind and reached out and touched my face to get my attention. I looked at her surprised, "you mum is really nice and everything it just kinda reminds me of not really having a mum..." She mumbled and buried her head into my chest and tear trickled down her face.

I wrapped my arms around her and ran my fingers through her hair "I'm sorry Cather I didn't mean to upset you" I felt so bad.

I led her upstairs into my old room which hadn't been touched since I last came, I sat down on my bed and pulled Cather into me and she slowly stopped sobbing. "Are you okay?" I asked "yeah but I feel like such an idiot crying just because I met your mum"

She replied with a slight laugh.

I laughed with her and eventually we were both laughing for no reason "I love you so much" I said pressing my lips to her forehead "I love you too" she replied placing her delicate lips on my mine and I kissed back and placed my arms around her waist.
