This castle is too big. And dark. And boring.
I though as I stare at a wall in my enormous room. I hate it here, but mom says it's the only place I'm safe. I wonder what out there is so dangerous that I have to stay locked up in this prison cell for the rest of my life. In case your still confused as to what I'm talking about, let me break it down.
I am princess korra. I am 17 years old. And I am being forced to marry a boy on my 18th birthday. And the worst parts are. I'm gay. And I have no clue how this guy is. The only time I get to meet him is on the actual wedding.
I think it's totally unfair, but my dad says it's *romantic*. Bullshit. I hate it here. And some day I'll be free and live my own life. Soon I get up, bathe, brush my teeth, change into my favorite dress and put on my shoes and go down stairs to meet my parents.
I find them in the grand hall standing at the bottom waiting for me. "Korra honey, we were just about to wake you". My mom says with a fake smile. "Hello mother, father".
I say sleep evident in my voice as I join them at the bottom. "Come along dear, you're food will get cold if we don't get a move on". dad says with yet another fake ass smile.
Today is going to suck.
