A blacked haired girl with glasses who spoke earlier approached towards us. Claire looked at her then back at us. "Um, this is Zia Rodriguez."

My Dad got up and stuck out his hand for her to shake. "Zia."

She smiled and held out her hand and they both shook hands and he moved sitting on the single seat beside Claire. "Hey, how you doing?" She asked.

"Yeah. Real good. How are you?" My Dad asked.

"Good." She replied.

My Dad turned around and looked at me to be nice and introduce myself, but I really wasn't a girl's girl. I got along with boys more than girl's.

"This is my daughter Charlene." My Dad introduced for me, and I smiled at her.

"Hi, nice to meet you." Zia introduced herself to me and I just nodded.

Claire interrupted, knowing how awkward I was being. "Franklin Webb. Systems analyst."

Franklin also had glasses and a small afro, he was panicking and grabbing his seat belt trying to wrap it around his waist. I look at him pathetically and tried not to laugh.

I didn't mean to be so mean, I just didn't like new comers. Especially as I'd grew up on the Island and I knew these people would try to out smart me. Or at least act like they knew it all. When realistically they'd never been around a real life dinosaur in their whole life.

But I had since I was young.

"Nervous flyer?" My Dad asked Franklin, who was sat opposite him.

"Would you ride a thousand pound horse that's been abused all it's life?" Franklin asked.

"I rode my motorcycle through the Jungle with a pack of Raptor's." Dad responded and I smirked. I watched Franklin's reaction and he just sat there and thought about that response for 2 seconds before responding.

"We're not compatible." Was all he said, before the engine started up. I chuckled and the plane ascended up into the air and I watched Franklin's face and rolled my eyes and looked down at my phone.

It felt like forever we was in that plane before I heard the words "We're home." From my Dad. I quickly withdrew my eyes from my phone and took in the beautiful view. The greenery and the nature on this island was just so gorgeous.

I look across at my Dad as he stared out the window in deep thought, I reached over and grabbed his hand. He turned to look at me and squeezed mine. We didn't let go of each other and the plane drove through the mountains of Isla Nublar.

As we neared landing I saw black smoke, it was coming from the volcano. So what Lockwood had said was true, they really did need saving.

The plane started to descend and I jumped out of my seat before the plane even stopped. I just wanted to feel the nostalgia.

We'd finally landed in a small camp full of what looked like soldiers, I glared at each and every one of them that passed the plane.

Claire got up out of her seat and was the first to go out, then Zia, Franklin, Dad and me.

"Animal behavourist." I heard my Dad say and I watched him shake some guys hand as I exited the plane. "Owen Grady." He introduced.

"Hey Owen. Ken Wheatley." He introduced as I joined my Dad's side. "You are?" He asked me.

"Charlene Grady." I smiled and he held out his hand which I shook.

"Ahh yes, I've heard about you. Bit of a feisty one I believe." He smiled.
