Keshawn"So she just took her shit and moved in the guest bedroom"? Kamari questioned as she stuffed the cigarillo with marijuana.
"Basically" Shawn responded as he reflected back on how Larissa just got bold enough to take her belongings out of their room. He was more upset about her just acting nonchalant about it, like it wasn't a big deal than her moving her belongings.
Keshawn watched as Kamari rolled the blunt while licking it from time to time to get the cigarillo to stick together so the weed inside wouldn't fall out. He admired her chocolate brown skin that was decorated with colorful tattoos as she continued to only pay attention to the perfect blunt that she had just rolled successfully.
"Well you should be lucky she didn't leave your ass, I love you to death Shawn but you were deadass wrong for hitting her" she stated shaking her head in disappointment before taking the blue & lime green lighter from her coffee table and lighting the blunt.
Keshawn didn't say anything especially because he knew Kamari wouldn't tell him anything wrong, she had been his best friend since middle school eighth grade to be exact & anything she said was usually right in his opinion.
Instead of responding to what she said he only shook his head and motioned for her to pass the blunt as she took one last toke from it. Releasing the smoke with ease Kamari passed the blunt back to him and immediately felt different from the four puffs she'd taken.
"In all honesty if it was me I would've been left your ass, I mean this is like the third time you've fought on her. Bruh I think you should go to anger management or therapy talk about your own personal demons than work on y'all" She said with a shrug as she looked down at her yellow finger nails.
Kamari knew she was telling Shawn shit that he'd rather not here but if she didn't tell him who else would? She just couldn't understand how Larissa could put up with getting fought on, if the table were turnt & it was her she definitely would've killed his ass in his sleep friend or not.
"So your taking up for her even after she killed my child, I know what I did was wrong I can't take that back but she killed a living piece of me and she didn't even tell me. She's evil as hell for that" he vented just thinking about it again got him feeling some type of way.
Taking deep puffs from the blunt Keshawn closed his eyes and rested the back of his head on the back of the black leather sofa. He felt bad about fighting her but he also felt that the ass whooping she got was deserved for killing an innocent life.
"I'm not taking up for anyone what she did was fucked up, but what you did was wrong as well & this isn't your first time fighting on her so I'm not about to throw a pitty party for your ass your a grown man last time I checked & two wrongs don't make a right" she said as she snatched the blunt out of his mouth before hitting it.
Kamari didn't believe in killing children but she also didn't agree with abuse either so they were both wrong. She did feel that Keshawn was more at fault than Larissa simply because he had fought her 2 times prior to finding out about the abortion, & now it was like he was taking his anger out on her like a punching bag and that just wasn't right at no costs.
"I'm not asking for a pity party I'm just asking for you to understand where I'm coming from in this situation" he replied taking long blinks to try and clear his now hazy eyes.
Keshawn wanted better and he felt that his best friend had a point he needed to work on his inner demons, but it was so bad that every time he seen Larissa sober he just wanted her dead like his child.
"I hear you but like I said the first time go to counseling violence isn't the answer my guy, let her sleep in the other room you two need space especially if y'all aren't trying to breakup" she said releasing smoke out of her mouth
