To not know who I am
But still know that I'm good
Long as you're here with meConsequences - Camila Cabello
Loving you was sunshine, but then it poured
And I lost so much more than my senses
'Cause loving you had consequencesGive Me Love - Ed Sheeran
Give me love like never before
'Cause lately I've been craving more
And it's been a while
But I still feel the same***
"Rise and shine, sleepyheads! Time to get cooking!"
Ivy's voice sounds through the door and I groan, snuggling deeper into Tyler's arms
"Do you think she'll go away if we pretend we're not here," I whisper.
I feel the vibrations across his chest as he chuckles.
"That's not really her style, is it?"
"We'll be out in a minute," I call reluctantly, not yet ready to leave the warmth of the bed.
"You better!" she laughs. "Otherwise, I'm coming in there."
I hesitantly swing a leg out from under the covers, stretching as I test the air. After a moment's pause I force my other leg to follow suit, pulling myself up to a sitting position.
"It is too early for her to be this peppy," Tyler says wryly, rolling onto his side to stare at me.
"That's just Ivy," I reply, standing to my feet. "Now get out of bed. If I have to be up at this ungodly hour, then so do you."
"Grace, it's only 8 am," he laughs, sitting up. "It's not that early."
"It is when you were up till 2," I say, peeling of my pajamas. "Hey, have you seen that romper I brought for today? I know I packed it, but it's not in my bag."
"What color is it," he asks, cocking an eyebrow.
"Dark purple."
"Is that it on the chair?"
I look towards Tyler's desk, smiling when I see the familiar piece of clothing draped across the back of his chair.
"It is," I reply. "Thanks babe."
I pull the romper over my body, using Tyler's mirror to adjust the fabric so that it sits in the right places.
"I'm gonna do my makeup," I say, rifling through my duffel for my toiletry bag. "Tell Ivy I'll only be like ten minutes when you get out there."
"Grace, you know you don't need to get all dressed up when we're just going to be lounging around the house all day," he chuckles, beginning to rifle through his dresser.
"I know, but it's Thanksgiving. It's what people do," I reply, shrugging. "Speaking of, you should wear that blue button up that matches your eyes."
He smiles, pulling out the familiar shirt and holding it up. "This one?"
"Exactly," I say, leaning over and placing a kiss on his cheek.
