CHAPTER NINE

"  ISN'T IT OBVIOUS? THE WAY I LOOK AT YOU, THE WAY I CARE FOR YOU OR FREAK OUT WHEN YOU DISAPPEAR FROM MY SIGHT IN THE WATER FOR A COUPLE SECONDS THINKING THAT YOU DROWNED AND I LOST YOU, GOD, I WOULD GO INSANE IF I LOST YOU "

VICTORIA SHIVERED AS she looked down the cliff again, she hated watching the water crash against the rocks all it took was for her to jump a little too short.

"Victoria, calm down" Nick whispered, noticing her breathing becoming labored as he pulled her away from the edge, making her look him in the eyes instantly causing her to calm down but her heartbeat only quicken.

"We'll do it together okay?" She nodded eagerly, linking her hand with his but neither of them really thought about it from it being something that they constantly were doing.

Nick guided her towards the edge, looking towards her. Her eyes filled with fear as her eyes went from the water up to the boy; she smiled at him before they both looked towards the water.

"Just hold my hand and trust me" She nodded then started counting down from three, until they backed up and as they reached one quickly sprinted towards the cliff edge, both of them jumping. But as they hit the water he held her hand tighter, so she didn't slip out of his grip.

"Holy crap, that was epic!" Were the first words that flew out of Victoria's mouth as she submerged from the blue waters?

A smile taking over his lips, the undeniable desire to kiss her soon faded away as he began to swim, wanting to not think of her like that when he knew she wasn't thinking the same.

Soon they finally reached the part of the beach where she could stand before she started cheering, and running around in the water.

"I would never do that again" She yelled a smile making her more gorgeous than before, he sadly brought a smile to his face since hers was contagious, soon her eyes flickered to someone near their stuff.

"Hey!" She once again yelled before running towards them but Nick decided to just watch from where he was.

"What are you doing" Victoria spoke confidence oozing out of her until the mystery man turned around, his dyed red hair making him more handsome than imaginable, also his brown eyes were to die for.

"Except for being hot" She muttered causing him to chuckle since he had heard it clearly, a blush covering her cheeks. Her cold hands landing on her cheeks to cover her reddish skin. Dammit.

"I found this near my stuff so I guess it belonged to you" Her sunhat in his hand, Victoria chuckled scratching the back of her neck nodding, taking it from his hand.

"Indeed it does, I'm Victoria" She spoke softly, putting the hat on top of her head and sticking out her hand for him to shake which he took, before bringing it to his lips and resting a kiss on her hand.
