THEY STILL HAD another three days in Miami before Las Vegas, so instead of sitting around and waiting Nick decided to look further down the list.
"So with thirty-five to go, and were stuck in Miami for a few more days but luckily I came across something fantastic on this list" Her heart wrenched at the thought of what he found, she wrote that when she was at the saddest point in her life and she wanted to write all the things she missed out on from being scared of the world around her, she sat on the couch waiting for him out from in front of the tv.
"Well what is it?" her soft voice filling the air for the first time that day since she had only woken up maybe an hour or so ago while Nick was grocery shopping for the two.
"Drum roll please" He announced but Victoria just sat there not amused as he sighed dropping his arms that rose when he spoke.
"Laser tag!" His voice full of joy, it had been a while since he last did something that was fun which was also pg.
"Awesome now move, the ads are over and how I met your mother is back on" He jumped onto the couch next to her as the screen faded into a show that he guessed was how I met your mother, Victoria adored the show.
"Ugh Robin and Ted are my otp" she muttered, Nick looked at her finally having some time to stare at her since she was so interested in the pixels on the screen formulating the show on screen. She didn't seem so scared to do all these things on her bucket list so it was weird that she hadn't attempted them before.
"I was thinking we should start heading there now since it's a two-hour trip" he muttered but she just kept her eyes on the screen "Ria?"
She groaned, grabbing the remote before storming off towards the bedroom that they had to share while she got the queen sized bed, he got the floor telling him that he'd probably try and dry hump her in her sleep.
"Someone has got their knickers in a knot" She rolled her eyes, at his attempt to insult her but she just smiled, looking towards the door that was recently shut.

A groan left Victoria's lips as she looked up at the scoreboard seeing her name on the leaderboard, she was second out of twelve since random people of course played with Nick and herself but Nick was cheering from next to her.
"I came first! In your face, Legend!" He yelled out obviously trying to insult the anonymous name that belonged to someone, he just didn't know it belonged to the girl next to him, she hated how she instantly smiled when he did, looking at her with that glint in his eyes which was just pure joy, she hated the control he had over her without knowing.
