I’m No Different, Just Ordinary: Chapter One

Isn’t that just great? Finding out that my parents had gone nuts telling me that everything we planned was postponed? After holding back my excitement and thrills to halt? Leading me to a complete devastated life, cancelling all my majestic plans for the summer? And those are not the only bad news; I would get to spend it on a farm where my lazy-idiotic father was raised instead of just letting me go out with my normal-friends all the way my normal-summer which was a lot better? And what is his purpose? To see me at the peak of my best to at least try to listen about his good deeds, history when he was a kid, see him butt-naked on pictures when he was a baby? As if! I wouldn’t waste my time with those. I would rather stay at home and watch useless television shows than to know where he came from.  Summer is the only thing I have control over and I can’t let things go differently like this. Trying their best to take my summer away from me wouldn’t let them crowned as victors. They’re playing a game; I’d give them ‘my’ game.

“Why in the name-of-your-dog can’t you understand the word NO?! N and O! NO!” Typical Saturday morning and I had a very bad mood as usual - - which was made even worse.

No matter how I say no or no matter how I say yes; they always oppose my stand, contradict my decisions and never listened to my opinions.

I wouldn’t let them win.

Not again.

Not this time.

“How many times will we tell you that we need to cancel our plans? We know you don’t want to and who in the world would like that, right? So instead of making your life miserable or ruining your life sulking on your bed, being an emo; we are going to the farm. In fact your grandma has wanted to see you so badly; since the last time you went there and had a vacation was when you’re three years old and barely recognize everything and now that you’re turning 18 and is finally stepping on her legal stage after two months; I thought that probably it’s your time to see your grandma happy somehow. Okay?” My amazing dad explained slowly as if I don’t understand every word he just said.
