"Why do you ask honey? Why are you so green looking? Are you sick? Do you need to see the pack doctor?" She bombarded me with all of these questions
"Mom, stop!!" I yelled
"Ok I'm sorry, just a mom thing" She said with a cheeky grin
"Yeah it sure is" I muttered
"Why do you ask, though?" she repeated watching me curiously
After a moment I replied with: "I think you were right, I do believe I have found my mate"
I looked down knowing she was burning holes into me, and out of no where I hear a screech and look up to see my mom screaming with excitement. And soon I hear footsteps rushing up the stairs hearing the scream and I slap my palm to my forehead as my father followed by many others come in to see what wrong.
"What happened?" said Dad in his alpha tone
He looked between my mothers beaming grin and me groaning in annoyance, my mom opens her mouth before I can stop her and yells out "LUCAS FOUND HIS-" and before she could finish I called over her
"Socks, I found my favorite pair of socks that I lost" and glared a warning glare at Mom, my dad nodded and walked out suspiciously.
Once they were gone I looked at her with a glare, "But there's a catch" I added angrily
She looked a bit embarrassed and nodded for me to continue and so I did.
"My mates..." I hesitated and looked down "my mates a rogue, in the pack that attacked Brant and I earlier" I spat and her eyes widened like I have just killed my own father.
"Oh" is all she said
Lucas's Mom's P.O.V
Once Joey and the pack members leave I see Lucas shoot me a glare and I looked down a bit embarrassed as he spat angrily "But there's a catch" I I look down again and nod for him to continue. He starts to stutter but I wait and he chokes out
"My mates..." He hesitated for a moment the spat "My mates a rogue, in the pack that attack Brant and I earlier"
I'm pretty sure I looked like he just murdered the whole pack but I couldn't hold back my surprise.
"S-so my baby's mated t-to a monster" she questioned and I didn't know how to respond...
