Skarlet has a scary smile. The one she puts on right before she cuts out your eyes. It'll make you want to kill yourself from the fear it puts in your heart. Why does she do it? She wants you to feel happy to die.
Skarlet killed her family at 12 years of age. All because they didn't smile after her grandmother died from a heart attack. Instead they shunned here for smiling. So that night, she waited until they fell asleep to sneak in their rooms. She got her oldest brother's camcorder, and placed it across from the bed of her Mom and Dad. Then she smiled in front of the camera as soon as it began recording. "Don't Frown." She walked over to their bed. Then she pulled the hacksaw from her dress. "Smile...."
The next day when the police came. The heads of each of her family members sat at the breakfast table. Each had a smile nailed onto their face. While Skarlet cooked eggs and bacon. She was then institutionalized At Mary Fielding's Home for Mentally Sick Girls, which was not a good choice.
At Mary Fielding's Home for Mentally Sick Girls, rumors always fluttered around that Mary Fielding used witchcraft to help heal her patients. Skarlet may have been the first confirmation of that thought. Four years after she was committed. Mary tried to get her to frown. Of course Skarlet declined. Legend has it Mary took Skarlet and locked her in a room that had pictures of frowns hung everywhere. Two weeks later she was released from the room, and killed all twenty patients whose picture was in the room of frowns.
Fed up with her failure to cope with human curing methods, Mary used unworldly, or spiritual methods. She opened a portal inside the back of Skarlet were every time someone in the world smiled it stung a billion times. As much as the pain hurt she never frowned. Only cried through a smile. She was happy that she would soon die from the methods.
Skarlet killed Mary's daughter when she came to visit her mother at work, by taking her hair and strangling her in the girls restroom. It angered Mary so much that she cursed Skarlet into the world of mirrors. "If you want to smile, smile forever"
Their she lived inside every mirror in the world. But she never could see anyone. Unless someone called her. Which no one did, until 10 years later. Eight teenagers played with her legend and tried it out. Then the mirror gateway opened up in their closet.
They were all around Skarlet's age, 16, all but one of them were in the bathroom waiting to see Skarlet. She was in the room frowning. "Don't frown," Skarlet began while pulling out a glass saw she made, "Smile........."
The next morning all of the teens were found dead, each with horrifying smiles nailed on their face.
Skarlet, back inside the mirror world. Waiting for a chance to kill again.
