Scott's POV

I was in the locker's room , I told Liam to stay at the door to watch out . I slowly opened Garret's Locker to see if I can find anything and I did I found a big red bag 

"I think someone is coming" Liam told me , I glanced at him " Hurry" He whispered again

I quickly opened the bag and My eyes widened at the amount of money that was inside .

"Did you find anything ?" Liam asked me

"No" I breathed "Nothing" I lied

I quickly shot the locker and stood up on my feet , Liam was standing at the door still

"Is everything okay ?" I asked him

"Yeah, Yeah" He quickly answered

"No , There's something , Your heart just skipped a beat" I told him and He looked at the ground 

"I-I Just don't know" He stuttered

"Is it about Jessie ? You like her don't you ?" 

"Y-Yeah , But she seems like she doesn't like me at all" He said sadly , I stepped closer and looked at him

"Look Liam , Jessie isn't like the other girls she's been through so much , Since her Sister's death she got some trust issues . She's heartbroken . Show her that you care about her , let her trust you and she'll open up to you " 

"But what makes you sure she will ?" He asked me

"Because she likes you too and I'm pretty sure about that" I winked which made him smile , It's the truth I noticed that whenever he looks at her her heart beats raises and I think that Jessie has a chance to move on .

Jessie's POV

I was walking down the streets , making my way to Scott's house . I was still a little shaken about what happened with my dad , It's just that I think I'm keeping so much inside of me .

I felt my legs so heavy and I'm going to fall in a minute , So I decide to Stop and seat on the curb for a little while  .

I sat down on the curb and throw my bag behind me in exasperation , I put my head between my knees trying to keep myself from crying again . I'm tired of crying that's what I always do why can't I stop crying ? Why am I so weak ? why can I take care of myself ?

"Jessie ?" I heard a voice call , I slowly lifted my head up to see Liam . He looked surprised to see me out on the streets alone this hour .

"What are you doing here ?" He asked me 

"I-I-I was just going home" I said quickly getting up and trying to pick my bag but before I could he did it.

"Are you Okay ?" He asked me his voice full of concern

I didn't reply for what felt like a minute , I looked at the ground then looked up at him . He was waiting for me to respond

"No" i said my voice cracking , He handed me my bag 

" Why ? What's wrong ?" 

"What's not" I scoffed "I should just go home" I said then turned to walk away but Liam followed me

"Maybe I can help you ? what's wrong ?"

"As if you actually care" I said bitterly 

"Maybe I do " He answered and I stopped facing him which made him jump in surprise
