It was a dark and stormy night. Clouds hovered over Camp Half Blood, a rare happening. Perhaps the Fates knew what would happen on that sad, sad day. Wait, of course they knew! they were the fates for Hades sake! I'm Percy Jackson, Maelstrom, or Fate's Bitch. Depends on when you knew me.

Well, I was just returning from visiting my mom. I was very happy, because I know am the proud half brother to Lindsey and Morgan Blofis. Plus, a had a great meeting with Athena, and Annabeth's dad. I made my way up half blood hill, and placed my hand on Thalia's Tree. I bowed my head, in remembrance of my cousin. She was killed in the giant war a year ago, along with Nico, Hazel, Jason, Frank, and Piper.

I walked down the hill towards the new coliseum that Annabeth designed. It was a exact replica of the original Coliseum in Rome, Minus the holding cells and cages for animals, slaves, and Christians. I was meant to meet Annabeth there.

As I neared the building, I heard some noises coming from the bushes. Thinking it was a monster, I pulled out Riptide, and pushed the bushes apart. It was just Octavian, and a blond girl, kissing.

Wait.

Wait.

WHAT IN HADES!

It was Annabeth.

What?

Why?

Why would she do this too me?

I turned, and ran.

Real manly of me, right?

Well you would run too, if you walked in on your girlfriend and some guy getting it on.

I ran to the big house, where I saw Chiron. "Percy! how are you my boy?"

He asked.

"I'm leaving." I blurted out. He looked serious.

"What happened?" I told him about Annabeth and Octavian. He looked sad.

He handed me a backpack. "Apollo said this day would be coming. Head to Angels Camp, California. You'll find someone there with an offer for you. Leave tomorrow." I went back to my cabin to rest.

"Perseus Jackson!" came the shrill voice of a certain blonde. She burst though the door, and saw my resting form. "You jerk!" Screamed the gorgon. "You blew me off last night to get extra sleep! I had a date planed and everything!"

"Really? cause so did I!" I yelled right back. "Until I saw you and your precious Octavian getting it on! You have a freaking Hickey on your neck, Annabitch!" She gasped. I stood up, and fished around in my backpack. I pulled out a box, some of the girls would have called the color Tardis Blue, and pushed it into her hand. I knew that inside was a diamond ring, with a blue one and a grey one on either side. I left. But first I went to visit my parents I had a feeling I wouldn't see them in a while.

When I arrived at mom and Paul's house, everything was quiet. They had moved to Westport, Connecticut, at the request of Hermes. He even got Paul a job at the local private high school, and they paid him twice as much as Goode. It was odd for it to be quiet, because the twins were usually crying, or May Castellen next door was having a fit.

I knocked on the door.

No answer.

I rung the doorbell.

No answer.

I grabbed my key from my backpack, and unlocked the door.

They were dead.

Mom and Paul's bloody bodies lay on the floor, infer punt of the twins room. Words were written in blood on the walls.

Bastard.

It's your fault.

You deserve this.

Above the crib, a note was tacked.

Revenge for embarrassing Annabeth in front of the entire camp.
