Champion jumped up to race after her, but she had already made it to the camp amphitheater.
Suspicious... No one could out run a Guardian...
"Everyone!" she screeched. "Maelstrom is actually Percy Jackson!" everyone stared at her.
And then the large group of campers burst into uproarious laughter.
"Ah, Annabeth? I guess you're a bit behind on the times." Said Will Solace. "Percy's in the camp infirmary."
"NO HE'S NOT! THAT'S A CLONE OF SOME SORT!"
"Do you have any proof?" she grinned smugly, looking sort of like the Joker.
"Those two Guardians were talking about it."
"Excuse me, milady, but you must have misheard." Champion responded.
"And it is considered rude to spy on another's conversation." Added Nightmare.
"Well, Annabeth, since your husband is a traitor, their words hold better than yours." She huffed of, yelling 'tuna', and 'dork-face', but I may be mistaken.
I'm kinda disappointed that only one person commented guessing who was spying. Even though she wasn't right, @LennaLee gets a shoutout. Everyone follow her cause she's the cutest!
