It's been a rough day so far. I woke up at twelve to Declan jumping in my bed asking if we could get a dog. As many times I've told him no he just doesn't get it. So, somehow he persuaded me - or should I say finessed - to take him to a dog pound.
"Mommy look at that those puppies, they are so cute" he points to these two pit bull puppies.
"That they are" we ask the workers if we could pet them and they said yes. We both go into their cage and they immediately run up to us. The beige one came to me and the grey one went to Declan.

"Their eyes are so pretty mommy, can we get them both!!" He looks up at me with a pleading face. I look at the two puppies and make my decision in my head.
"Yes but they will be your responsibility. You will have to feed them, walk them, and even clean up their poop" he jumps ups in joy and hugs me.
"Thank you mommy. I promise to take care of them" he exclaims. We tell the worker that we want these two and she gladly takes them out of the cage.

"What are you gonna name them bup." Declan eyes them back and forth to figure out their names.
After a few seconds of thinking he speaks up. "I think I figured out their names" he speaks.
"Well what do ya got"he eyes the pups one last time for his final answer.
"Lola and Bambi" I like it. Taking it Kylie Jenner I see.
"Those names are perfect bup" we head over to the pet store and choose out some toys and clothes.
