DURING the next dew days, Soonyoung hadn't been the person he usually was. His energetic personality, his loud mouth at nine in the morning or his cheery face wasn't common anymore.

When Jihoon would see him pass by it would always remind him of what he had done. He itched to tell him the truth, he wanted to apologize but he was too much a coward to do so.

It had been that day. That day Ria had told him to immediately inform Soonyoung about Jia. He thought about it. Real hard. It wouldn't hurt for a few hours of holding him off. Maybe he was selfish for not telling him, or the feeling of slight excitement that they were going to break up sooner or later.

But he was wrong.

Watching every bit of Soonyoung's cheery personality break down little by little pained him in the heart.

His usual self left a big mark on him. He missed it. His heart throbbed watching Soonyoung frown and frustrate himself, and the look on his face when he mentions that he's "okay". Jihoon admitted, he wanted to slap him in the face and tell him to move on and that he's there for him. But you can't force feelings.

And he admits the creeping possibility of liking him.

However he doesn't want to believe it.

He didn't know when it started- or even how he had began to develop these feelings.

Or was he too overwhelmed about his so called fanboy and how far Soonyoung has gone to even becoming one of the choreographers of Pledis. Was it from the moment? Was it real?

The day was spent practicing. Sounds of shoes squeaking on the floor that everyone was too accustomed to. Although during that time everyone had been there except for Soonyoung.

Jihoon walked in and looked around, hoping to find the familiar black haired and small eyed boy in the room. He wasn't able to spot him.

Jun called the whole group. People shifted their gaze onto the latter who awkwardly smiled.

"Dino called. In such short notice he said Soonyoung has a really bad fever at the moment and he probably won't be back for a bit." the boy spoke.

Murmurs echoed around the room and Jun went back to his place.

"Guys!" one of the younger back up dancers interrupted and the room hushed again. "Let's practice hard so than when Hoshi hyung comes back we're extra ready!"

Loud choruses of yes and cheers echoed. Jihoon smiled and took a deep breath.

Yeah. Make him proud.

The room felt silent, empty and sad.

Soonyoung who suffered from a cold- well the flu- stayed stuffed under many layers of blankets. He practically looked like a human burrito.

If he hadn't been balling his eyes out would he be able to go to work?

He sneezed before hearing footsteps outside.

He tried sitting up but he felt too tired so he didn't bother and sighed as he laid back down on his bed.

"Is this going to be my last day on earth? Someone's going to probably kill me and take all of my stuff or throw me onto the streets and I'm all weak and sick-"

"Hoshi hyung, that's just complete nonsense."

Soonyoung turned to look at the door squinting his eyes and hearing that familiar voice and seeing that bright pink hair.

The younger chuckled as he approached Soonyoung.

"Chan? What are you doing he-". A sneeze interrupted him as tried asking the latter why he is in his house.

"Spare keys." he simply said as he took out the keys from his pocket and waved it in front of the older.

Soonyoung sighed as he crashed back down onto the bed and pulled up the covers. "I'm so sick Chan." he said, sniffling.

Chan exhaled deeply. He walked around the bed and sat down, looking at Soonyoung with a pitied smile.

"Soonyoung, are you really alright?" he asked.

"You can say that."

Chan propped up his legs and sat cross-legged. He placed his hands on them and played with the hem of his pants.

"I mean. With Jia." The younger spoke. "You can't just act like nothing happened."

Hoshi really didn't want to talk about it. He wanted to push away the memory of his girlfriend cheating on him. He placed a lot into the relationship he had. And by a lot it I mean a lot.

He would always take her onto dates, movie nights, watching netflix, go and shop excitedly with her so he wouldn't be that boring boyfriend, he would do all that for her until- until Jia started being distant.

Soonyoung didn't know how or when or what even happened that made her like that. He was too scared to ask. He thought that without asking, he'd still keep their relationship longer.

But he didn't think far enough.

He didn't want to think about the possibilities because it haunted him. The thought of Jia leaving him haunted him. The relationship he oh-so-cherished break apart haunted him at the back of his head.

However it still happened.

The day flashed through his mind. Fresh, just like it didn't happen weeks ago.

He slowly got used it. Her warmth gone, her hugs and that cute smile. Gone.

His fans knew about it. There were moments when he'd scoff looking at all the pity comments and smile with the supporting ones.

But he got so tired. He sobbed his eyes out when everything became so frustrating. Everything he did and saw all just reminded him of Jia.

Chan took the older's silence as a reply.

The older sat up and the pink haired boy looked at him. Hoshi was just staring off to nowhere as he was lost in thought.

Chan decided to hug the older who hadn't had anyone to comfort him since he was always alone.

Soonyoung's and Chan's relationship was special. They were even closer than brothers. The older always took care of the younger but there were barely any times when it had been Chan's turn to help.

He hated it when Soonyoung would always act like these things were nothing to him. He always hid his pain just to make others smile. But this was one of the near heartbreaking moments.

Soonyoung exhaled shakily as the younger hugged him. "Hah. I never knew it would hurt this much huh?"

"Just cry."
