Deidara's POV

I just got a mission to go kill the girl that killed Sasori. I will get revenge for him. Pein gave me all the details I needed. She's on a solo mission right now so she's alone. It was a fighting mission so I'm gonna be meeting her right before she returns to the Hidden Leaf Village while she is low on chakra and kill her. That's my plan. Pein told me that she is coming back from it tomorrow approximately around 5 pm. So I should arrive at around 3 pm. Get traps prepared and make some premade art! "This is for you Sasori Danna," I said to myself looking up at the bright blue sky. I heard footsteps coming this way. Perhaps she came early it couldn't be 5 already. I stepped out and sure enough, it was her. I planted a bomb on her back before she saw me. I blew it up. All it did was scratch the surface but it did good she was already on her back and everything. I walked over there to finish the job. It was a substitution jutsu. Unfortunately, she did it too late her blood was scattered on the dirt. I smirked and followed the blood trail to a small rock where she had been resting. It got her shoulder. She was healing it and suddenly sensed my presence. She wrapped bandages around it and just before she finished I planted a forest of millions of my art! I blew them all up at once. She shielded her face. After the explosion was over I turned because I thought the job was done. Then I heard her voice. I turned around. Her body laying on the ground. "Pathetic. I didn't even go beyond my c2!" I yelled. She stood up despite the fact that she was covered in her own blood. I looked at the sky. Sasori. I will revenge on Sasori's death! She charged toward me. I kicked her easily away from me again. I dug in my pouch. I made a work of art, one as big as her and made it shell around her. I hardened it and blew it up. I saw her blood scatter everywhere. "Sweet Revenge," Then suddenly I felt a sharp pain through my heart. Where someone had stabbed. It was painless. I fell to the ground and everything went dark. Then I saw some really bright light. I was expecting to see Sasori for some reason but instead, it was Pein. I was laying on a bed surrounded by Pein, Kakuzu, and Konan. They must've thought I was a goner because I heard Kakuzu say, "His heart was pierced and cut in half. I did surgery and sewed it back together and reconnected the nerves that got cut as well with the heart. It may work it may not. It's 50/50," He said. I sat up quickly. Pain rushed through my body. I screamed and yelled in pain. My heart hurt, but not because it had been broken. It was broken since Sasori's death. What hurt was still being alive. Konan rushed to me. She pushed me down onto the bed. I resisted. "Let me be. I did my mission. Now I want to meet my new partner." I said. I sat up and got off the bed. It was impossible to walk. Hidan heard the screams. He had been crying. "Crying huh?" I said mocking him. He dropped to the ground and caught me as I fell. I fell into his shoulders. He threw me over and carried me down. I could still hear his tears fall down his face. I didn't realize how much I meant to him. He got downstairs. He set me down on the couch. His face was red and he still had tears in his eyes. "Deidara I thought I lost you," He said. He hugged me tightly. I let out a silent scream. He pulled back. I'm sure Sasori is gonna kill me for hugging you. I know how protective he was. "Y-yeah," I said. Pein walked into the room with the new member.
