"Oh my God. This dress is perfect. What do you think, Hunt?" I asked spinning around

"It's gorgeous, just like you." we both smiled and I walked over to lean down and kiss him

"I can't believe graduation is tomorrow!" I said over excitedly

"Yup! now you can come home to Louisiana and I can have you all for myself." Hunter said

"And you will!" I said winking

"I know were just friends, who have gone on dates, but we never made it official." hunter said changing the subject

"Well.."

"Will you be my girlfriend, Ellie?" Hunter asked

I didn't know what to say. I wanted to say yes, but couldn't. instead...

"I kissed Ryan...again." I panicked

"What? when?"

"When we first got on the plane to here like a month or so ago. but it's not a big deal. I guess. we were never official, you and I." I said

"But I thought we were a thing."

"If you're a thing you can see other people, if you're dating that's when it's different and can be considered cheating."

He had no response.

"I think you should go." Hunter said getting up off the bed and opening the door.

I just grabbed my stuff and marched out without another word and slammed the door behind me, almost crushing his fingers if he hadn't moved them..that was my goal...oops.

-----

"Hey Taylor." I said to my roommate

"Hey what's up? You look down." she said putting her arm around me and letting her gold extremely wavy locks of hair get in my mouth.

"Hunter is pissed at me."

"Who's that?"

"I don't know if he's my boyfriend or what now. I panicked when he asked me out and told him I kissed Ryan."

"Wait..Hunter who?"

"Hayes. Hunter Hayes."

"You're dating Hunter Hayes?!" Taylor said flipping out.

she is obsessed with him.

"I don't know now."

"Than talk to him, Ell. if he's staying nearby go over there and if not than text him."

"Nah. I'll just see if he comes to graduation tomorrow." I said crawling underneath my sheets.

'I don't even care that I have sweatpants on. wait..yes I do.' I think to myself as I get up to throw on shorts. man, Oklahoma is smoking.

HUNTERS POV:

'She's always dreamin' of hearts and rockets, she's gotta fall before she can fly, and I- I wanna be the one she's falling for.

just wanna play my part in it

on every page that she writes.

Yeah her life's

a story full of hearts and rockets.'

I remember writing this. It was when I was 15. I wrote it for someone my junior year of high school. who was it? I think it was Ellie. it was. I was in love with her then...and..and I'm in love with her now. I grabbed my keys and phone and ran out of the hotel room. I smacked the elevator button a good fifty times. I rushed out of the lobby, to my car, and drove to OU.

--

"I'm here to see Ellie." I asked the woman at the front office

"Room B88."

"Thank you." I said briskly walking wondering this huge ass campus.

I finally found a Room B sign. 'Rooms 1-50-Left' and 'Rooms 51-100-Right'. I made a right and finally stumbled upon Room B88. I knocked loud on the door, thankfully it was Ellie who answered.

"I'm crazy about you." I said as I grabbed her in my arms and kissed her.

She grabbed my hand and sat on her bed with me. I handed her my lyrics.

"What is this?" she asked seeming pissed

"Read it."

She read the lyrics.

"The secrets of a boy who's crazy about a girl who's always, always dreaming of hearts and rockets."

She looked up at me and sighed.

"I wrote this for you in high school. I still feel the same way. I'm still crazy about you,. I still wanna be the one you're falling for."

Her eyes were kept on the paper. than she said something and with each word she got closer.

"And. You. Are." she said smiling against my lips
