Opposites attract

C H A P T E R 7

<Y/N POV>

I was shoved into emptiness, the tinted windows letting slip a glimmering light that penetrated the darkness surrounding me. I wanted to open my brain up and let my thoughts catch a glimpse of the world that they longed to see, the same exact world I wished to leave from. It drained the energy from me as it carried on forcing me to carry on, it made me want to vomit.

I thought about Namjoon. Why would he come and rescue me - the dirty, used rag of my boss? Nothing I did would let me be the same. No matter how much I cleansed myself, the memories would still come back to haunt me.

I could still remember its touch and how it had used me simply for pleasure, not for love and care - something I knew Namjoon would accept me for. But why would he? I was nothing to him, nothing good would happen to him if he tried to help me. It was a monster - it was my boss.

<NAMJOON POV>

I felt something in my heart - fear. This wasn't how I was scared of something - like a spider or something. This was fear - something that I knew would come to haunt me in the future. I looked out the window and could see the dark clouds slowly coming in front of the sun. I grabbed my jacket and ran out of the house - searching for Y/N.

I had no idea where to go but I just let my legs take wherever they felt like I needed to go. I had one thing on my mind - Y/N.

TIMESKIP

I reached an unfamiliar place that had an aura of hostility and I tried my best to hide my vulnerability. I walked down the gravel road to reach a little shed. I peered in and saw nothing but black. Tip-toeing so as to not make a sound, I carried on looking for Y/N. I held my breath as I ducked down into the safety of the shadows as a man dressed in black walked past. I waited for the click-clack's of his boots to die down before I got back up.

Dusting myself off I peered around the corner to make sure the coast was clear before turning and continuing my journey. This was my most important assignment - get Y/N to safety. No one would be able to stop me for the power I held was stronger than any other weapon - love.
