Granite lifted the rock into the air. With a forceful move, the rock flew into the side of the rocky mountains. He stood straight up again, before slamming his foot down.
The ground beneath him trembled, and the orange rock cracked like ice frozen over a lake.
The crack hit the mountain, and it crumbled like sand.He began rebuilding the rock, lifting the ground below the crumbled mountain.
Soon the only remaining pieces if the mountain before was chunks of rock and pebbles.
"Good work, Granite." A sneering voice said from behind him. Granite turned around to find Coal, another equally strong student."What do you want Coal?" Granite grumbled lowly. "Oh, don't be like that Granny."
Granite growled. "Don't call me that, Coal." "Or what? You gonna bake me cookies?" Coal pouted, before laughing. The smile was wiped off his face when a rock hit him in the chest, knocking him back.
"So that's how it's gonna be?" Coal questioned, before lifting a large boulder and throwing it at Granite. With a quick reaction, Granite countered the attack by launching a similar sized rock. The two collided, smashing into pieces. Then rocks began to fly. With one unsuspected attack Granite was slammed into the ground. He groaned, beginning to get up when a shadow looked overhead. Coal held a rock the size of a small house. "Time for you to be gone, once and for all."
The rock fell, and Granite couldn't do anything to stop it from landing right on top of him.
Coal smirked, beginning to walk away. He felt a small pebble hit the back of his head "There is no way he could've–" the sound of crumbling rock made him spin around.
Granite emerged from the crumbling rock, covered in small scratches. His eyes were dimly glowing, and he began walking forward, towards Coal."Hey now, no-no need to get anyone else hurt, right?" Coal stuttered. Granite slammed his foot down, the earth underneath Coal flew upwards, and in milliseconds Coal was launched into the sky.
Granite threw rocks into the air and began running up the hovering rocks. After his foot left a rock it fell back to the ground. He reached Coal, who was still flying up. Without hesitation, the rock he had once been standing morphed into a different shape, and wrapped around Coals ankle. Granite dived, grabbing Coal by the throat as they fell towards the ground rapidly.
The oncoming ground, the speed, and the force at which they fell would surely kill Coal. In a sudden move, Granite raised rocks, landing on them and jumping down, like a mountain sheep.
Coal gasped for breath as Granite let him crumble to the ground.
"Don't touch me ever again, you hear?" Granite threatened. Coal nodded, wiping the blood from under his nose. The two students weren't equals anymore.
