TRACK (2/15) - This anthology series is inspired by The 1975's album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. Each song will have its own chapter. The chapter will be written from my interpretation of the song while the song is playing, so if you want to listen to the song [on repeat lol] and read along, feel free to do so.

"Good morning Harry. It is one o'clock."

Harry blinks awake, turning onto his side facing the opposite wall as the light slowly entered his room, the whirring of the shades rising to fill his ears with an annoying hum. He groans, burying his face into the pocket between his pillow and sheets.

"The temperature in Montreal today is eighteen degrees Celsius. Today will have mainly grey skies into mid-afternoon with mild spring showers. Don't forget your umbrella this time. Y/N is here with your dry cleaning. Shall I let her in?"

"Yes, Arielle. Haven't I configured Y/N as one of the administrators?"

"No. According to the mainframe, only you and Rosie are listed as administrators."

"Well, remove Rosie's name and put Y/N instead. Don't need any reminder of her."

"Confirm Y/N Y/L/N as an administrator. Erasing Rosie Styles as administrator."

"Confirm," Harry mutters without hesitation. "Let Y/N in and have her wait in the lounge while I make myself decent."

Harry proceeds to his bathroom, bending down to let Bumble (his kitten) lick his fingers. She purrs at Harry which makes his heart swell as he lifts her and carries her with him into the bathroom. Harry takes in his appearance. He looks and feels considerably well, better off now that his (now) ex-wife is out of his life.

After such a messy divorce Harry's most thankful that they never had kids. They did have Bumble which he thankfully got custody of since she never liked cats, but put up with having one since she didn't like children either.

Both major warning signs, Harry now realizes, but it didn't change his decision to marry her. They just weren't meant to last more than the eight years they were together, and he has no resentment towards her, in fact, he'd say he's grateful for her teaching him that cheaters never prosper.

"It's just you and me now Bumble." Harry coos to Bumble through the mirror as she meows in response. "I know Bumble, and Y/N too."

Harry sets Bumble down and allows her to run off while he makes himself presentable. It's the first time in about a week that Harry felt like he cared enough about his appearance. Bumble trots into the bathroom again when Harry steps out of the shower. Harry watches as Bumble curls into the pile of towels by the shower and chuckles as he picks her up. He pulls on a clean shirt and boxers, then slips into a pair of grey sweat pants. He covers his feet with white socks, cat ones, as per Bumble's request.

He carries Bumble with him down to Y/N. Y/N, Harry sees, is in the lounge, standing by the sofa. He sees his dry-cleaning spread over the sofa's backside. He smells food coming from the kitchen, which steered his attention. As he scuttles past Y/N, he takes notice of how her forehead creased and how her words her quiet. Seeing Harry, Y/N promptly ended the call, sighing deeply as she followed Harry into the kitchen.

"It took me forever to find exactly what you wanted; there are not many gluten-free places that have what you asked and since Earl's was closed today it took longer, but I got it. Your dry-cleaning's on the sofa, and I have the paperwork you asked me to pick up for you as well." Y/N says, presenting him with a thick folder.
