Sorry for the late update...life happened🤷🏽‍♀️I will try to update a lot sooner next time

Where am I? Izuku looked up and slammed his palm down as the world tilted and swirled. He was in his house, only...it wasn't. The walls seemed to drip and melt, everything glitchy and dark like something straight out of some horror game. Shades of purple swirled across his vision and he realized that he was sitting on the ceiling. He stared up at the furniture on the floor-turned-ceiling. Stairs led down, presumably to the attic. Dumbfounded, he sat there imagining what the house looked like from the outside. He sucked in a sharp breath as he became acutely aware of the pounding of his pulse in his head. Gingerly, he touched his head and it came away bloodied. The blood dripped from his palm, and as it met the floor, it gained shape and ran away. Izuku shrieked and scrambled away from the humanoid figures that was once a pool of his blood. As they ran away he stared in shock. Am I in hell? What did I do to deserve to wind up here? Looks like the afterlife is just as bad as real life. Stumbling, he got over to the door and looked up at it. Damn, how am I supposed to reach that?  As he jumped and came short, he let out a string of curses. He jumped again and caught the door handle before quickly letting go as his right shoulder screamed in pain. Clutching his shoulder he glared up at the door. Strangely enough, it seemed to meet his gaze, taunting him. Gritting his teeth, Izuku jumped once more and caught the handle with his right and brought his left up to meet it. Tearing up at the pain, he nearly let go, but stubbornly resisted to give up so easily. Swinging his body from side to side, he managed to turn the knob and opened the door. He dropped to the floor gasping for air like a beached fish,  from being both out of breath and from the aching in every movement he made. Taking a deep breath he managed to get back to his feet. He gasped and his eyes widened as he looked out at this strange world, for the most part void of color. It was like someone had turned on grayscale and invert colors at the same time. The whole street was void of color, save the strange creatures lumbering around. The sky was a terrifying shade of red. Izuku shivered. It was almost as if the sky was bleeding. There was no sun as far as he could tell. The small fish pond in his neighbor's yard was a deep purple, no fish in sight. The creatures wandering past spared him no attention and he let out a breath he hadn't known he had been holding. He took a hesitant step forward, and then another. Slowly, he walked down the paved stone steps of his front porch, madly peering around to see whether he had caught the attention of an unwelcome visitor. He made it to the end of his driveway before looking back at his house and could only stare. It looked like it would have back home, only the interior of the house was upside down, so how was the house upright on the outside? Shaking his head, he walked away, trying to rid himself of the ringing in his head. He walked down the street and stared at his reflection in the purple liquid. He looked like something made of nightmares. He saw a pale, gaunt face, dark purple bags beneath crazed eyes, broken limbs hanging off at odd angles, a blood caked face, and bloody, torn clothes. Taking a closer look at his face, he almost vomited. He could see bone and brain matter. HIS brain matter. As he dry heaved and gagged off to the side of the pond, the wind blew, and he closed his eyes, trying to find solace in nature's song. When he opened them, he found himself in a garden. Silver flowers shone beneath shadowy, willowy trees. Fiery assortments of roses surrounded by black ones. Pale translucent ones gleamed in the dim light. In the middle of the large ring of flowers and woodlands, there was a grassy area, the gray blades swaying in the breeze. He stood within reach of an elegant obsidian black English tea table. Seated at the table sipping a cup of tea, watching him, was the most beautiful person he had ever seen. The girl looked to be about his age, maybe younger, but her eyes seemed to be thousands of years old. Her cold, calculating gaze appeared to hold the secrets of the universe. She had honey gold skin, and long black hair that reached mid-thigh. Her right eye was blacker than midnight and somehow managed to still glimmer. Her left was a radiant translucent white. She wore a long black dress that seemed to be made up of shadows. Though the wind blew, it seemed to leave her untouched, while it tossed his hair and baggy clothes into a frenzy. He stared at the elegant figure as she set down the cup and stood, gliding rather than walking, the long sleeves of the the kimono trailing along after her. She stopped a few feet in front of him. Though she spoke softly, her voice chimed like ringing bells.  "It has been quite some time my friend." He looked at her in shock. He did not think he knew her, but yet, there was a tickle in the back of his brain that recognized the girl. "It is not your time, nor will it ever be your time."  "Where are we?" She raised one delicate eyebrow. "My doorstep of course. You know that you can't step through my door the way others do. Well, you remember somewhere deep inside of your mind. It seems that most of your memories are buried or lost to the past." Noticing the look of confusion plastered on his face, she spoke again. "Think of it like crossing the street. The place you used to call home is on one side of the street and the resting place for the dead is on the other. Right now you and I are standing in the middle of that street." Realization dawned on him. "So right now we are in Limbo?" She seemed amused though her facial features didn't change, causing him to rethink. "So this is like an in between place? A passing place to allow souls to pass from the living world to their resting place?" "Something like that. But is now time for you to take your leave. As I said before, now is not your time, nor will it ever be your time." But wait! I have so many questions left unanswered. On top of that, I'm thoroughly confused. The wind started to blow harder, swallowing him up in a whirlwind of dark sand. She seemed to remember something and held out a bundle. "You may need this. Going back to your realm has a few......minor complications" As the sand swallowed him, she pressed the bundle into his hands, and her eyes glowed so bright he he had to cover his eyes before all of his senses went dark.
