They have gone through horrible things!" she said. "Thank you Sam!" replied Jake. "I'm always here if you and your sister want to talk!" she said and we nodded.
"Will you stay here now?" asked Cornelia. "I hope, I'm so tired of moving!" I said. "I'm glad you and Jacob are okay!" she replied. "I'm glad too!" I said.
"Why didn't your dad leave Adam?" asked Rebekah. "It's not that simple!" said Jake. "He knew his husband killed people, but still he stayed with him!" she replied. "Dad swallowed his lies and he was good at manipulating!" I said.
"It's Tommy's own fault that your, family lives under death threats!" replied Rebekah. "You haven't been through it, so don't say things you don't know!" I said coldly. "Meggie's right!" replied Cornelia. She glared at us and walked away. "Don't care about her!" said Sam. "She's not my problem!" I replied.
"Would you and Jacob like to come over to me after school?" asked Cornelia. "Absolutely!" I said. "Count me in!" replied Jake happily. "I've missed my best friends so much!" she said and hugged us.
