Hayes Grier Imagine- Maddie

Maddie's POV

'Ping pong ping pong'

I had such an annoying door bell!

I walked over to my front door and opened it, I could hear the boys talking very loudly already.

As I opened the door Nash was the first one in, followed by Jack J, Jack G, Sam and Cameron.

As I began shutting the door behind me a foot stopped it from closing; I looked up to see Hayes.

"Yeah cheers Madz" Hayes replied

He's always called me Madz since we were little kids and he's stuck with it.

"Oooops my bad" I replied whilst laughing at him.

I walked back to the others, and by the sounds of it all the boys had made themselves very comfy in my living room.

As I had just sat down and made myself comfy on the sofa next to Hayes and Sam, Jack G decided it would be a great idea to order a takeaway; and of course all six boys couldn't pick up the phone and call a takeaway so I had to do it myself!

My phone was in the kitchen so I scooted past the boys and made my way there.

As I was on the phone I felt something hit my head, and again and again!

I turned around quickly to see coco pops all over the floor.

My eyes shot up to see Hayes with the cereal box in his hand as he grabbed another hand full and threw them at me!

"Hayes. Stop it" I said through my teeth as...

1) I was on the phone to the Chinese man.

2) I now had coco pops all in my hair.

He just giggled and ran out of the room taking the bag of coco pops and leaving the empty box on the counter.

When the Chinese came I was the first one to dish myself a plate up as I wasn't getting left overs from the boys.

Sam walked into the living room doing his 'swag' walk, basically he walked with his shoulders in front and did an almost limp thing with his leg.

"Yessss boys" Sam said to us all as he appeared with the cider box from what was behind his back and now was on the coffee table, As each of the boys took a bottle.

It was now 12.34pm and Cameron mentioned playing a drinking game, the usual got mentioned like 'the cup game' or 'mention' (which was a game we all made up were we mention something and see who believes that it happened or not)

So anyway 'truth or dare' clearly got brought up and the dares were hilarious; we had Cameron and Nash drinking ketchup, Sam drinking Jack J's spit and Jack G streaking in my street!

It was now Hayes's turn to pick truth or dare and surprisingly he chose truth.

So Jack G asked him "Who was your last crush".

"Do I seriously have to answer this question" he mumbled.

Whilst all of us eagerly waiting for his reply shouted "Yess".

It went kind of quiet for a minute then he finally replied with "Madz"

Hayes did not look at me when he said it but everyone's head turned to me, I didn't know what to do so I just laughed and all the boys soon joined in, including Hayes.

Hayes soon got up and walked out of the living room picking up another cider from the kitchen counter on the way out.

I followed him outside to where he had gone, I stopped for a few seconds to look about when I saw him sat on the stairs leading down to the grass section of my garden.

He had his head weighted down and he looked almost upset.

"Hey" I said, sitting next to him.

He looked up at me and then resumed to his original position.

"What's up" I asked him.

He didn't say anything.

I sighed and got myself up from being sat on the cold stone stairs, making my way back into the house.

"Fuck sake Maddie" Hayes said quietly.

This was really strange because never has Hayes once called me Maddie unless it's something serious.

I turned around and Hayes got up to face me.

He walked over and stood in front of me placing his right hand on my neck and his left hand around my lower back.

He looked straight into my eyes and I looked straight into his.

He moved his sight on to my lips and then looked back at me again.

My heart was bounding.

Was I about to have feelings for Hayes?

He then slowly kissed me, his soft lips touching mine. I kissed him back. I felt him smile throughout the kiss.

I put my arms around him as we got further into the kiss when suddenly we were rudely interrupted by Nash.

Of all people to see us kiss it had to be Nash!

Nash coughed standing at the door way of the double glass doors.

I pulled away and walked straight into my house, making my way straight to my bedroom.

I heard Nash following me up the stairs because Nash always kept his shoes on at people's house so I knew it was him.

My bedroom door opened as Nash appeared around the door.

"Look Maddie, I'm sorry I interrupted you and Hayes. I just wanted to come speak to you because I want to ask you if you're making the right decision. I don't want Hayes to get hurt and I defiantly don't want you to get hurt either and I-" Nash said as he sat on my bed.

I quickly interrupted him.

"Nash you've been my best friend for as long as I can remember now and I don't want this to come inbetween us" I spoke softly to him.

"I know, as long as you both feel the same way then that's okay" Nash spoke out.

"I do, I really like Hayes" I told Nash.

"Good, at least now he might stop talking about you at home" Nash said followed by a laugh.

I laughed along with him as we made our way back downstairs to join everyone.

I saw Hayes sat on the sofa and went to join him.

He smiled as he put his arm around me.

I rested my head on his shoulder and smiled.
