Kagome's Choice

Chapter 5- inuyashas saddness with kagomes smile

(Inuyasha pov)

I ran past the village to the tree of time that’s were I got a wiff of dog and kagome tears. I mentally scollded myself for making kagome cry. but That flea took kagome just thinking about that would make me run as fast as koga runs for kagome! Where did he go. I jumped at the moment I got the smell of them going to the west were the den of there tribe was.

So you went with koga huh? Well then should I go or stay and wait. I looked up to the tree hoping for it to give me a sign sadly no response.

WHAT AM I SAYING. Kikyo is going to kill kagome I have to go protect her that flea cant do it so I will.

I ran to the west to kagome and the flea. While I ran I looked to the sun where I thought about kagome and how or if she could ever forgive me. I was running full speed in a canyon as I thought more and more of beautiful kagome.

“I love you kagome” I wispered as the it echoed throw out the canyon.

(Kagome pov)

After the nice flashback of meeting koga ended he looked back at me and asked if I wanted to take a walk down the canyon. “I would love that koga”. As gave him the nice smile I always did.

The walk was nice and long we looked at the canyon dips and colors and the waterfall that was were koga lived we looked at it from the top of the canyon and we yelled stuff at it as it echoed back at us. We laughed as we yelled funny things and had a conversation in echoes.

“kagome can I ask you something” koga looked like he wanted to get something off his chest

“sure koga what but lets walk and talk okay” I smiled at him

“sure” koga smiled and we walked down the canyon hill to a path leading to the den.

“so kagome I know I don’t think you want to talk about it but…” I already knew what he was going to ask but it just made me want to cry again.

“… so what happened that made you cry?!?” koga looked at me with curosity and saddeness but I wasent in the mood to tell him so I tried to brush it off to the side.

“oh that, that was nothing just inuyasha being a mutt like you say” trying to smile I walked down the path with my head down. Koga stoped and put my hand on my shoulder.

“please kagome I just want to know so I can help.” Koga looked at me with those blue sky eyes and gave in. I explaned everthing from the music to the tree. In the end koga was so angry you could feel his body boil. It was sunset and it was getting cold so asked koga if he could take me back to the well.

“kagome stay with me that mutt will just proably just follow you and yell at you for doing nothing.”koga looked like he was begging.

“okay koga you win but uhh can I sleep somewhere not surronded by bones and the smell of wolfs not that it’s a bad smell but I am jus-”
