Once me and Lily got to the castle we headed in to see the great Hall half way packed. "How does this happen each year we arrive at the same time as everyone" I ask confused on how many students there are already.
Lily nods and sees James looking at her "ugh Y/n please tell your brother that he has zero chance with me" she says annoyed and I looked to see James.
"I have tried but it never works he says you two are destined to be" I reply and make my way to the Gryffindor table.
"Yes well if only he would get the hint" Lily says walking with me and sitting down.
"Trust me Lils if I could help you I would but sadly I can't change my brother's mind about you" I say sympathetically then look over and see Remus and so I look away.
"Ohh are you blushing Y/n" Lily cooes and I sigh "this is going to be a long year isn't it" I ask no one in particular.
"Yes yes it will be a long year" Lily replies and I put my head down on the table as the first years come in.
