Dr- in 18 years that I've known Kourtney I would of never of thought she had lupus.
KM- what's that?
Dr- lupus is a disease that occurs when your body's immune system attacks your own organs. This is happening to Kourtney right now and unfortunately this is causing her kidneys to fail. We have a tube that's breathing for her but we can't do anything until we have kidneys to do a transplant on her.
T- when will you get kidneys
Dr- it could be days or weeks but I put her on the top of the list so hopefully it will be faster
KD- so we have to wait
Dr- yes I'm sorry I wish we caught this sooner
KM- it's not your fault
Dr- I just have a question and this is just between all of us. Kourtney has bruises all over her. Why?
Everyone looked at me and I just stared at Kourtney.
A- we went to a party yesterday...and she got in a fight with another girl.
Dr- ok I was just wondering but I'll be back to check everything
He left and Kourtneys mom sat down next to Kourtney on the opposite side
Mo- we should go hunny. We can stop at Sarah's on the way back.
A- I'm not leaving
KM- he can stay if you guys want to leave
T- ok we will be back later with food
My mom kissed my head before they left and then it was just me and her parents.
A- i need to tell you something
KM- you can tell us anything
A- she didn't get in a fight with another girl
KD- then what happened?
A- Ethan tried spiking her drink but failed and then he forced her into having sex with him
KM- WHAT
A- I'm sorry I wish I protected her from him
KD- none of us saw it coming
Kourtneys mom started crying and I was about to cry.
A- I can't lose you now K
I whispered and I laid my head on her bed while holding her hand.

It's been hours since we've been sitting here and it was almost 5 pm. Then the doctor and a couple nurses ran in.
Dr- we have kidneys
KM- really!!
Dr-yes but we need to do the surgery now
KD- ok
Dr- the surgery can last up to 2 or more hours
The nurses started prepping her for surgery and I kissed her head and Linda kissed her head along with Andy. The nurses left with Kourtney along with the doctor and my parents walked in a few minutes later.
KM- she's going into surgery now
She said happily and my mom hugged her.
Mo- I'm so happy now
KM- me too how's Sarah
Mo- she has family over now and the cheerleading squad is there...the news is spreading around the town
My dad started talking with Andy and then my mom walked over to me.
Mo- Jake and his mom and stepdad are coming and so is Chance and his mom...I hope that's ok
She said the last part to both Linda and Andy
KM- yeah that's fine
Then a nurse walked in
N- I came on behalf of Dr. Smith that's in surgery with Kourtney?
KM- yes is everything good
N- yes I came to tell you they just opened her up and now putting in the kidneys so it would probably be another 2 hours.
KD- ok thank you
N- of course and visiting hours are over at 7 pm and only family can stay
She left and then my mom and dad sat down.
A- Kourtney didn't get into a fight with another girl. Ethan took advantage of her.
