Leaving and Moving On

I looked at them and kissed their heads I pulled the covers over them and left

I sat in my car thinking about what I was going to do , was I going to stay or leave

If I stay I'll only hurt them there is no changing me I was raised doing what I did

My dad beat me and mom every night , I prayed and prayed that I didn't end up like him , I wanted to be a real father to my kids and give them everything I could , but I'm raised like this and I hate it

I took the letter out my dashboard leaving it at her door

I sat behind the wheel looking at a picture of them I sighed pulling off

I was going away for awhile I knew it would hurt my kids but it hurts me more

I was leaving long enough for Marley to move on and find someone better I wanted my kids to grow up with a good father one who knows how to treat them and Marley like they need to be treated

Marley POV

I woke up that night to izzy whining

"What's wrong "

Izzy: daddy

"He went home baby "

Izzy: noo!!

"Isabelle be quiet"

She crossed her arms pouting

She laid down next to me I got up going to the kitchen and a note was sitting on the counter I opened it and it said

Marley I'm sorry but I have to leave , I won't be gone long jus long enough for you to move on and forget about me ,I hate to do this to you and the kids but it's what's best for everyone, move out of that little apartment and move back into the house the house key and the safe key is in the envelope , I left money in the safe use as much as you need , I'll call you soon I love y'all

I pulled the keys out the envelope I put them in my purse sitting at the table

Marley unlocked the door and the kids ran into the house

Marley POV

I listened to the kids run around while I counted the money in the safe it came out to be 100 Grand I put it all back locking the safe I wanted to know where he got all this from and where did Get it

He picked her up

She took Kyree from august going to the kitchen
