A ray of hope

Chapter 8

"Okay so I know that I sound crazy but I SWEAR something seems fishy."

I was currently in my school library with my 3 closest friends.They were a bit skeptical about my story,considering how little information I had.

"I don't know why you two can't just talk about it"Violet said in a matter-of-fact tone.

Here we go.

Violet hated conflict and was probably more naive than I was.She wasn't much help.

"I TRIED talking it out Peace,he's the one who was acting pretty douchey and blew me off!"I cried exasperated.

"Okay,okay so how did he look again?"Angela said.

"Really nothing special,midnight black hair,um dark eyes maybe,he dresses all in black like some biker but more emo and he rides a motorcycle."

Angela tapped her chin in thought."He could use a makeover,all that black is probably really bad for his Chakra and his feung-shui seems out of balance"

I slammed my head on the desk.Don't get me wrong I love my friends to death but sometimes they can get a bit sidetracked.

"GUYS,CAN WE FOCUS HERE!?!"I screeched flailing my arms.I probably looked crazy but I didn't care,I needed my friends focused.

"Let me get this straight,this random guy tells you that Kyle isn't who you think he is. You go to talk to him and he insults you,brushing you off as a mere crumb and than leaving like a jerk?"Faith asks.

"YES!" I say happily.At least SOMEONE is focused.

"Well than the answer is simple"a wicked grin spreads across her face.

"We dig for some dirt".

I'm a little nervous about our plan.It could be a little risky.

Angela is pretty well known around our school.EVERYONE loves her and knows her,the ones that don't are heartless mean wannabes.Her job is to ask around to see if anyone knows him.

Violet is really with the music crowd and extra-curricular stuff so she's investigating that.

Faith is surprisingly really good with computers so shes looking for some important stuff via the students profiles.

That left me,with the hardest job of all.I had to sneak in to the office and find his student record.

Eek

I'm freaking out about it.If I get caught I will be in BIG trouble.It'll probably be on my permanent record and might get expelled from school and and.....I

I need to calm down.

Giving up now is not an option.My amazing friends were backing me up and I knew my way around this school.I know there's something weird about this guy and I was determined to find out.
