I was walking out of the cafeteria with Faith when Angela caught up with us.

"Peace can be a tad bit dramatic"she said slowly.

I laughed.A "tad" was an understatement. It's true Violet hated conflict and was always calm but seriously that girl is a drama queen.

You know that "big news" she had.Yeah, not so big.She was only telling us that she got Detention with Mr.Baker in history, apparently she was wearing her headphones in class and that is "against school rules".We basically had to spend the rest of lunch with Violet going on and on about her injustice.

I love her and all but seriously, she had a talking problem.

"So Hope"Faith said snapping me back to reality.

"Have you seen a certain someone.....anywhere" she said while wiggling her eyebrows.

By someone she meant my boyfriend Kyle Neilson. We've been together since Junior year and we have a pretty sturdy relationship.I haven't seen him all summer because he was on a family trip in Jamaica and we only texted. I really like him but I'm starting to feel like he's getting distant.

"No I haven't actually.." I say while looking around.

"Me neither" Angela says while frowning."oh well, gotta jet,see you guys later!"

I'm in front of my locker getting my stuff for my next class when I feel arms wrap around my waist.

"Hey babe" says the voice behind me.

I turn around to see my boyfriend Kyle standing behind me.I internally cringe when he calls me "babe",I really hate that nickname but I keep quiet.

"KYLE!" I say enthusiastically. "OMYGOD,how are you? How was your trip?"

He smiles and gives me a hug.

"It was great but I missed you!"

"Awe,I missed you too." I say gently.

He leans down about to give me a kiss when the bell rings.

"Uh,I'm sorry I gotta go" I say while getting out of his grip.

"I'll talk to you later, okay?"I say while dashing down the hall to my next class.
