TWENTY

Once I get to ethans I realize what's happening. I look down at pants. OMG. I bled through my pants. I run back to my car. I dropped my keys. I scurry to the ground. I jump up. I then see ethan walk outside. He jumps.
"I was wondering when you were going to get here." Ethan says
I run over to the end of my car. He looks confused. I smile.
"Yah I sorta gotta go home." I say
He looks at me weird.
"Why I haven't seen you in so long." He says moving closer.
I run to the other side. He looks over the top. I smile.
"Really." e says I open my passenger side door and scurry in. I lock my doors. I put my keys in. I hear my car start. I roll down the window. He looks at me worried.
"I'll text you later today." I say
"Why did I do something wrong?" He says
"No I just have to go back home." I say. I put l my seatbelt on. He stops me before I could go.
"Em just tell me." He says
"OMG ETHAN I GOT MY PERIOD AND I BLED THROUGH." I snap
He looks at me and smiles
"That's it. Your period em. I don't care." He says
"It's embarrassing for your boyfriend to see your blood." I say. He looks at me again.
"Geeze em it doesn't matter it happens." He snaps
I got mad. I roll up my window.
He rolls his eyes and I back out. He holds up his hands. I drive back home and change. I move over to my bed. I sit down and then I cry. I cry and then start to think. He is to good. I fly back to my bed. I grab my phone. I go to ethans contact. I press it and then call him. He doesn't answer. He always answers. Maybe he feels the same. I call one more time. He still doesn't answer. I get a notification.

I click it. It was a picture of him and a girl. If he was posting he got my call. He didn't answer. I look closer at the phone screen. The girl was me. It was us at his house in the pool. I look and smile. I was still mad. I move over to my pillows. I text him.
Emma- Ethan we need to talk and I think we need a break.
Ethan- I don't understand why?
Emma- I have to figure out what to do with myself.
Ethan- I'm on my way to your house to talk.

I didn't respond. I throw my phone at the wall. Hard. The screen cracked. I left it on the ground. Soon after I hear a knock at my door. I open it peeking my head through. Ethan looks at me he smiles. I open the door all the way. He walks in and sets his keys on my table. He sits down. I sit across from him. I look up.
"Emma before you say how we need a break I need to say that I was only in a mood because I have to fly back to NJ and I don't want to." He says
"What why I'm so confused E? I really don't want you to go." I say
"I thought you would like to have a break so what's the big deal. I want you to tell me why." He says
" Your so good to me and I'm so stupid and depressed. I just think you need someone more." I say
"Emma I need you and thats it. Yah you have your ups and downs but who doesn't. I need you to say that we are going to get through this." He say
"But I don't know if that's true ethan." I say with tears forming.
"All you have to do is say it please babe." He says with his voice breaking.
I take a deep breath and the. Open my eyes.
"We are going to get through this I can't lose you and I love you so much." I say
He smiles and kisses my forehead . He looks at me
" But me and Grayson have to go to NJ for the weekend to go to my cousins baby shower." He says
"Ok." I say
He wrappes his arms around me and then rest his head on my shoulder.
"I love you em." He says
"I love you too e." I say
