A Visit from Family

I was going around very excited. My family was coming to visit today.

Apparently Isabella and Edward and Renesmee had left the family for a bit saying they wanted to travel and see the world. But I didn't care it meant that my family could visit me. In the four months I had been with the Mikaelsons I had aged more rapidly. Now I looked to be about twelve years old.

After a bit I heard two car doors. I squealed and ran out tackling grandpa down in a hug. He chuckled and hugged me.
" Hello little miss." We both got up and he put a hand on my head.
" Look at you. You've grown." I giggled and hugged him again. Once I let him go grandma hugged me tightly.
" We've missed you sweetie." I buried my face into her chest.
" I've missed you too grandma." She kissed my head. Aunt Alice and Aunt Rose both gave me hugs. Uncle Emmett picked me up and spun me around. Then Uncle Jazz hugged me close. Lijah had come out by now and was standing there smiling. He had long since gotten used to my never ending energy. Something he said I must have inherited from my uncles. He came over and smiled.
" Carlisle. It is good to see you again."
" Elijah. Thank you for watching over her."
" Of course. Though she can be a handful." I stuck my tongue out at him and huffed. Bekah spoke.
" Don't you dare talk about my sister like that." I giggled and hugged her. Uncle Emmett ruffled my hair.
" Yeah. You are a handful little monster." I playfully glared at him.
"Kettle. Pot." Aunt Rose burst out laughing as did Aunt Alice. Uncle Jazz spoke.
" She's got you there Emmett."
" Oh shut up." I giggled and then tugged on Lijah's hand.
" Can we go in now?" Lijah smiled at me.
" Of course."

After I got my family settled in I went to the living room and began sketching. It wasn't long before I heard a voice.
" You still love drawing." I looked up to see Uncle Jazz watching me with a smile. I smiled and nodded.
" Yep. I do." He chuckled and sat next to me.

While I loved both of my uncles, Uncle Jazz had easily been my favorite. He and I had bonded over so many things.

After a bit Aunt Alice came skipping in. I knew that look on her face. It wasn't a good thing.
"No way." I said.
"Oh come on Ali. Now that you're grown we can have more fun shopping."
"I'd rather stay in and read. Or do anything else then fashion." Uncle Jazz chuckled.
"You are just like Jasper I swear." I stuck my tongue out at her and she smirked.
" Come on Ali. It will be fun." I groaned and fell back on the couch. Just then Finn came in. I grinned and ran over to him.
" Finn. Help me. My aunt is trying to kill me by shopping." He chuckled and put a hand on my head.
" Is she?" I pouted.
" Traitor." Finn smiled while Elijah chuckled.
" Why not go shopping for art supplies astin? You were saying you wanted some more." I lit up at the mention of art supplies. Uncle Jazz chuckled and shook his head. He stood up.
" I'll go with you to make sure Alice behaves. And we could look for some more books." I sped over and hugged him.
" Deal."

I had fun shopping with Uncle Jazz and Aunt Alice.

After we were done we went back to the house.

I went and found grandpa reading. I went over and sat down next to him. I snuggled into him and watched him read for a bit.
" Yes Eli?"
" What are you reading?"
" Just some work stuff. I'll be done soon."
" Can I see?" He chuckled and let me see the paperwork. He even explained stuff to me when I got confused. Before we knew it it was dinner time. Grandma came in.
" Okay you two. Time to eat." I jumped up and ran over to her. She smiled and took my hand spinning me around. I giggled and hugged her.

After dinner I spent some time with my family before falling asleep. I really had missed my family.

Two months later
I was sad because my family was leaving today. They had to go back to their own home.

I was outside saying goodbye to my family. Grandma gave me a big hug and kissed my head.
" Now you know how to contact us and we'll try to visit again soon."
" Promise?"
" I promise sweetie." I gave grandpa a big hug which he gladly returned.
" I'll miss you sweetie but I know you'll be fine. And we can talk on the phone whenever you want." I nodded and hugged him one last time. After saying goodbye to my aunts and uncles they left. I really was going to miss them. So much.

Six years later
I opened my eyes to sunlight streaming in.

I was now fully grown. True to their word my family had visited when they could. Though I did miss them I was happy with my mates. I had also become a doctor, much to horror of Nik and Kol, and was helping people in every way I could. I had become both types of vampire thanks to my persistent mates.

I sat up and stretched trying to wake up. I felt a hand trace my arm and I smiled.
" Morning Lijah."
" Eliett. You are awake early." I smiled at the nickname that only Lijah called me.
" I couldn't sleep anymore." He chuckled and kissed my neck. I hummed in pleasure then got dressed.

I got ready for my day off and my day with my mates.
