Sonnet 18 Parody

Do I dare compliment such radiance?
You grow more baffling by the day.
Trials may tempt your elegance,
And time grow ever short to my dismay.

Sometimes the sun burns too bright,
Often losing his gorgeous golden glow;
And everything beautiful looks not as quite,
By chance or natural change, the warmth fades to snow.

But your youth will reign on the throne.
Though you're simply divine, no matter;
Nor will death claim you as his own,
Because it is your eternal beauty I flatter.

So long as we breathe, for our eyes not be blinded.
So long live us, may we forever be open-minded.
