The next day Danny got into his car pulled out his sat nav and typed the postcode into it. He turned on the engine and drove off to the place. It was a long drive to the training centre. He eventually got there and spoke to a man inside. The meeting went on for hours. Danny gave the man some papers about Himself. The man looked at the papers for half an hour and then said.

"Very impressive, these results are great. You're on. Go to this postcode on March 30th. You will start your training at 10:00 am."

Danny shuck the mans hand and left. His mind was filled with happiness that now he had a job.

3 weeks past. It was the day of his training. Danny had been shopping from 5:00 am looking for a suit to go in and a soldiers uniform. He had just come back with both. The time was 7:30, plenty of time. He started to pack his bags. An hour past and he was ready to go. His suit case was full to the brim and he was just putting on his suit. He went down stairs and started to cook breakfast. The kids came down as soon as they could smell the food. There was one person missing though, his wife. He went up to they're room were he found his wife sprawled out across the bed. For a moment in Danny's mind he thought she was dead. He walked up to the bed and woke her up. He walked down stairs with her. She sat at the table and her kids looked at her.

"What's happened to your hair mummy?" One of them asked.

She quickly looked in the mirror and saw that her hair had been falling out over night. Danny served the pancakes to every one. They all started eating. The time was now 8:00.

"I better go now." Said Danny "it's a long journey."

Danny stood up and went to get his things. As he came down stairs he saw his kids at the door with a big card. They gave it to him. It was a good bye card handmade by the kids and his wife. He gave his kids and his wife a kiss each. He said to his wife.

"Don't give up."

A tear ran down her face as she opened the door for him. He walked out the door and to his car. He got in and pulled out the drive. He looked back at the kids and his wife and waved goodbye. He drove off into the distance as his family watched him go. They all went back inside and sat down.
