“Hey, Molly!” Eliza calls as I’m opening the door.
I slam the door and move to stalk into my room but Juliet blocks me.
“You’re friend Natalie called.” Eliza says.
Juliet crosses her arms. “You should really call her back.”
I raise my eyebrows. “Mhmm. Ok.”
“NO. Know.” Says Eliza angrily, handing me the phone.
“What’s with the whole ganging-up-on-Molly thing?”
They exchange a look.
“Just call her.”
I narrow my eyes at them, but do so, dialling Natalie’s mobile number.
She picks up on the third ring. “Hello?”
“Hey, Nat.. it’s me. You wanted to speak to me?”
“Yeah!” she says excitedly. “But, I want to speak to you in person, if that’s possible.”
I frown, “I’ll meet with you, but one condition.”
“Louis won’t be there.”
I relax. “Then, I’m good.”

The hot chocolate is warm in my hands, but I haven’t touched mine yet, And Natalie hasn’t touched hers yet. She’s looking at me nervously, she has been for the last fifteen minutes.
Finally, I clear my throat. “So.”
“Louis came to see you.” This isn’t a question, it’s a statement.
“Yes.”
“And you broke his heart.”
“We’re even now.”
She sighs. “Molly, about the whole business thing… it wasn’t his fault, he had nothing to do with that. It was my fault.”
“It’s seems like the sort of thing Louis would do, just a bet between friends.”
