“I wanted  to tell you.” Natalie said with a smile. “That I am so thankful for you to do this, really, I couldn’t have asked anyone better to plan my wedding.”

“That’s really sweet.” I say, skipping slightly, turning my head just a tad bit.

“He’s looking at you.”

I whip my head back to where it was. “Who? Huh?”

“Molly, you don’t have to pretend.”

“Pretend what?”

“That you’re still interested.”

“Please! Ew! No way!” I shook my head.

“Oh, please don’t pull a Lucy on me.” Natalie say with a roll in her eyes.

“A Lucy?” I say, amused.

“Yes! She spent ages denying that she liked Harry, Until she finally admitted it!”

“You see Nat, the thing is, that if I did like Louis, Not saying I did. I would never ever admit it, not after I did, That’s not who I am, I don’t forgive people at a whim.”

“Molly-“

“I know what you’re going to say. But he did hurt me.” I shrug. “And he’s gotta learn that I don’t heal quickly.”

“You’re going to regret this.”

“No! I’m not, Because I’m not going to waste one minute of my time regretting my decisions.  I’m a young, free and happy person.”

“Did I ever tell you that sometimes you sound like a-“

“Textbook? Yes, all the time.”

Natalie raises her hand. “Up top, Girl!”

I grin, and slap her hand. “So, Speaking of weddings-“

“We weren’t talking about weddings.”

“We are now.”

“Ok, what did you want to know?”

“Well first of all, Who’s going to be the best man?”

“Louis, Harry, Zayn and Niall.”

“All four of them?”

Natalie raises her eyebrows. “You don’t seriously think Liam would only pick one?”

I sigh. “You know, I grew up in a place like this.”

“You did?”

“Mhmm. I left when I was fourteen though.”

“Why?”

I feel the lump rise up in my throat.. “Family stuff.”

“Oh, Well-“ Natalie begins to say, And I spot the park.

The park. “No.” I say softly.

“What is it?” Natalie asks.

“I… I’m going to… I’ll be back, Don’t wait for me.” I say.

“Molly!” Nat calls, but I ignore her, I need to see this, I need to see him.

It’s been six years. I can’t believe It, six years, since I stepped on the grass, and walked by the dandelions. I walk into the park, raising my arms up so I can touch the trees and the leaves and the stems of the new flowers.
