Progress

One sunny morning, Emily and Magic walked up to the arena to start Day 1 of breaking in.Magic was so good and started off really well she lunged him and then decided to put a numner onto his back he was such a good boy. They started in walk then they tried a trot then a canter.He did so well at all of them. She put on a bridle and he responded to the bit really well and it's like he knew it all before.She was very brave and put the saddle on him and once again made him walk trot canter. She then put him back in his stall for the night with his stable rug on with some lovely Hay.

Day2:In the morning she came down to the stables, groomed him and tacked him up, today was the day where she was finally going to get on Magic. She climbed on and Magic did a little buck of excitement and then did as he was told for the whole lesson they did walk,trot,canter, and even some trotting poles this was only day 2 of breaking in.

Day3:Emily woke and did her usual morning routine. Then started walking down to Magics stable. He was already jumping with excitement to do some work. She fed him then tacked him up today she decided to do a small 1ft jump and he basically trotted over it so she put the jump up to 2ft 3 and he cleared it wonderfully. She then put it up to 3ft6 and he cleared it. He was getting tired so she walked him down the road he behaved beautifully walking there and back and there was a lot of cars about.

The breaking in was complete. Las night she was looking at taking him to a jumping class next month they had a trailer and she was going to get him ready!
