GLOSSARY
-Cordona; arguably the most popular restaurant in Delmitii, famous for its seafood dishes.
-Cyarne; pearl lollies that granted anyone with siren blood the ability to breathe underwater for approximately an hour after consumption. It was popular amongst pearl divers, including Sarah's family.
-Delmitii; the island home of the sirens, located on the western side of Jendilya. Sarah's mother was born in Delmitii, before she moved to Jendilya to live with her husband, a member of the Ryadion Clan.
-Dorlae; a race of creatures native to Jendilya. They are known all around the land for their exceptional healing skills. Gloria is a special case. Having Dorlae blood in her veins, despite not having Dorlae parents, she is still considered as Dorlae, having their horns and eyes.
-Eirazelle; a village located in Jendilya's north, where Ullanyth HQ (Rebellion Headquarters) was located. The gate connecting Jendilya and Earth located in Kameron's backyard leads to the forests of Eirazelle.
-Jendilya; a secret land hidden from Earth, described with ebony and violet grass with dark yellow coloured trees. English is the primary language, brought to them by the outside world, although they can also speak their own native dialect. There are gates that connect Earth and Jendilya - one of them exists in Kameron's backyard.
-Jendilyan; the main native dialect of Jendilya, although its citizens usually speak English. Jendilyan is also what the population of the land is called.
-Mermaid; beings that are half fish, residing in the waters of Jendilya. The male versions of mermaids are called mermen. They do not possess any magical abilities.
-Narmia; a kingdom located in the waters of Jendilya. Since Narmia had cut off trade with any other kingdom in millennia, its existence had been forgotten by all, until a mermaid princess had come to Jendilya with a plea for help. Now, Narmia and Jendilya have strong trade connections, strengthened by the friendship between Queen Arya of Narmia and Queen Kameron of Jendilya.
-Royal Council; a council consisting of Queen Kameron, her royal advisor Hamish and her representatives: Gloria, Rin, Sarah and Justina.
-Siren; just like the legends from Earth, a siren is a beautiful girl who has the power to enthrall others with her voice. Sirens do not have their own clans, but simply are a part of their husband's clans. However, the number of sirens have dwindled as the centuries passed, because of others trying to exterminate them many years ago, and the lack of reproduction. Sarah is one of them.
-Taefolia; a tropical fruit drink that is native to and served only on Delmitii. Taefolia flavours consist of: coconut, passion fruit, papaya, guava, starfruit, pineapple, kiwi, mango and banana.
-Thyilellm; a village in Jendilya that had been destroyed by Queen Jennifer, but is now rebuilt, with statues to honour twins Leeanne and Emily. The new buildings/houses are made of marble, and the streets are made of stone.
-Varielie; a building located on Delmitii, previously a home to the appointed leader of the sirens. Now, it is a place of residence for Queen Arya of Narmia and her companions.
MAGICAL ABILITIES
-Sarah, Kye-Ann, Tanzeem, Aunt Geena & Mia; as a siren, they have the ability to enchant others with their voice.
-Risin; as an angel, he has a wide range of abilities, including the ability to teleport from one place to another in a matter of seconds.
-Eva & Olivia; both possess the ability to communicate telepathically with one another, as well as gaining skills from each other and being able to read each other's emotions and thoughts.
-Kelvin; he has the ability to conjure any type of weapon from thin air at will.
