Thanks to the referee shotgunning points to Hisoka, the fight ended quickly and nobody got too hurt. That being said, a couple of weird things happened along the way. There was a lot of talking between the two which we as the audience couldn't hear, and after landing a solid punch Gon gave a tag to Hisoka. Killua tried to explain the significance of it to you afterwards, but between the punches and the yelling the conversation didn't make much sense.

Gon proved to be stronger than he looked. He put up a good fight, but you're glad it ended the way it did. It'd be pretty sucky to get laid the man who killed one of your friends. Well, as sucky as getting laid by him could be.

On you and Killua's way out, he mentions it'd probably be better if we gave Gon some time alone for a while after the fight. Agreeing with him, you decide to head over to Hisoka's room. After all, he took a few punches too.

As you get closer to his room, you feel a new presence. It's extremely strong, almost of Hisoka's caliber. The closer you get to his room, the stronger it gets. It's almost like it was coming from his room.

You knock on his door, but strangely enough it peeked open at your touch.

Huh. That's weird.

Assuming he left the door open on purpose, you enter while announcing yourself.

"Hey, I just wanted to.." You trail off when you look up. You see a woman sitting by the small table, staring straight at you with cold eyes.

"Are you lost or something? Scram." The pink haired woman states in no particular tone. She was intimidating without trying. Mentally you were hunkered in a corner. But you weren't going to back down now.

"Who the hell are you?" You asked, straightening your back. She called your bluff and stood up. Your demeanor weakened. You weren't looking for a fight, but she sure as hell wasn't afraid to finish one.

"You heard me. You have no business here."

Where the hell is Hisoka?

Hisoka entered from the bathroom, fresh out of the shower again? He was wearing the black tee shirt you wore when you were recovering in his bed for three days. He looks over at you indifferently while wiping his hair with a towel.

When he approached you, he smelled as good as ever. But you couldn't take in the scent because you were too distraught by the way he was looking down on you. Just hours ago he was acting as your ally.

...Who is that woman?

"It's foolish to wander in any open door you see. Run along, now~" He says, giving a polite smile. As if this wasn't demeaning enough, you could detect a hint of pity in his voice.

Don't do it..

You furrowed your eyebrows as he closes the door in your face. You stood there for a few seconds, trying to take in what just happened. You feel the pit in your stomach churn as you listen to the next things said.

"Who was that?" She asks.

"Not sure. There are some peculiar characters here after all. ♥"

Embarrassment was the first feeling. Then betrayal. Then anger. You took your first step away from the door. And another. And another. He was clearly using you to get to some other objective, and you knew these terms when you got involved. So why are you feeling so hurt?

What am I doing? I've been training half of my life for my time here. I don't need him. I'm bigger than this.

After taking a deep breath, you continue to walk back to your room.

Screw both of them. I'm fine.

___

"God why was he so rude!? What the hell did I do to deserve that?" you yell into a pillow. Gon gently pats your back.

"It's okay Y/n, let it out." He says. Ever since the fight, he's completely open to talking about Hisoka. You lift your head back up.

"I get that he's a two faced liar but damn you don't have to be so smug about it... You two should have smacked me the moment you knew I was involved with him." You rant.

The three of you were back at your room. Gon's fight was queued up on the TV for you guys to analyze, but one thing lead to another and now you are venting. It's been three days since the incident.

"Yeah, your boyfriend's kind of an asshole. Don't know what you were expecting with that one." Killua says as he unwraps another chocolate robot. What's a viewing party without snacks?

"Killua! Don't say that." Gon says.

"It's true! Besides, she would've socked me with that clunky iron fist if I smacked her right?" He says. Gon laughs.

"For the last time he was never my boyfriend. And I guess you're right. Geez all I ask of him is that I get a little human decency, and he can't even pay up on that." You lean back. The more you thought about the situation, the more angry it made you.

"Hey, it's better you found out now rather than later! And you even got some good training tips off of him." Gon cheerily adds. You couldn't help but smile.

"You're totally right Gon. Thank you."

"So now that we've clarified that Y/n has an awful taste in guys, can we start the fight?" Killua asks, grabbing the remote.

"Yup! Let me just grab a drink." Gon says, jumping up and bouncing over to the mini fridge.

"Ah, I think you're out of sodas, Y/n." He says, closing it.

"We could grab some from the cafeteria. It's still dinner time so they should have some." Killua says.

Being with these guys made you feel so much better. They really were a nice break from the drama from this crazy arena.

"You comin, Y/n?" Killua called to you through the doorway. Gon was next to him.

"Yeah. Let's go."
