I reach into the hat, fishing around, and pull out...
A cross pin?
Oh dear god no.
The pin gets taken off of me, and they shove me into the closet. I watch as they shove someone else in, and then they try to shut the door. I leap forward to try to get them to keep it open, but they quickly shut it before I can, plunging me into darkness. I whimper, and back up until I hit the wall, then slide down to the floor and lean against it, clutching my knees to my chest.
Nobody knows this, not even Finland, my best friend, but I'm terrified of the dark. Petrified, in fact. I always see strange monsters in it that threaten to hurt me. I hug my knees tighter, and bury my face, trying to hide the whimpers.
I feel a hand tap my shoulder and I look up, ready to scream, but instead I find kind eyes looking into my own and instantly recognise it as Norway's troll. It pats my head gently.
"___?" I freeze as I hear a familiar voice. Norway walks over and sits down next to me. The troll moves away into the darkness, making me whimper as I'm left alone again. I can't see Norway.
"___, you're not scared of the dark, are you?" he asks. It's the first time I've heard any emotion in his voice, and it's concern. I shake my head.
"N-No, of course not." I mutter faintly. "Wh-What would make you think that?"
Silence. I bite back another whimper. Suddenly I feel an arm wrap around me and stiffen as Norway pulls me into him. One of his fairy friends come along and sits on my knee, lighting up the place a little. I look up at him. He's staring down at me with his emotionless eyes. Well, almost. I can see a tiny hint of care in there. A faint smile tugs at his lips.
"There's no need to be scared of the dark. You know our friends will take care of you." he says. I smile and rest my head on his shoulder, remembering the day we first became friends.
I was late to my class, but I was lost, as well. So I was running through the halls, when I bumped into something. I'd fallen down and heard a gruff voice apologising. I looked up and saw a green troll extending a hand out to me. Confused, I took his hand and he easily pulled me up.
"You can see me?" he asked. I nodded.
"You're not going to hurt me, are you?" I asked, my sudden fear of mosnters kicking in.
He chuckled and shook his head. "No, I don't hurt people unless Norway asks me to because they're annoying him." I nodded.
"That's good. I see monsters all the time, you see, and they always try to hurt me. But nobody else sees them and they never understand what I'm screaming at." I said, looking down at the floor. The troll sighed, and rested a hand on my shoulder.
"I'll protect you. Now then, what class are you in?"
When I walked through the door, I saw a familiar boy with long blonde hair and emotionless blue eyes, Norway, staring at me. "Why are you with this girl?" he asked, addressing the troll behind me.
"She was lost and ran into me in the hallway. I said I'd protect her since those idiots are trying to get her." he explained bluntly. I assumed he was referring to the monsters that haunt me. Norway nodded, and turned to me.
"Are you able to see him?" he asked. I nodded.
"Yeah, when I first saw him I thought he was a new monster who was trying to hurt me. But instead he said he'd protect me from them and even escorted me to class." I smiled. Norway simply nodded.
"So, you say you're being chased by monsters?" I nodded again, looking at the floor. He patted the seat next to him. "Sit next to me and tell me about them. We might be able to help."
I look back up at Norway. We'd talked for a good while about those monsters, and he'd promised to always protect me. I'd made friends with his fantasy creatures, who were amazed that I could see them. I smile and pet the fairy's head, and she giggles.
"You know, ___, I think I like you. Not as much as Norway does, though." she chimes, then covers her tiny mouth, her little eyes wide. I blush and look up at him. He stares at her. "Um, I mean, uh-"
"No, she's right." Norway says bluntly. He turns his gaze onto me. "I do like you, ___."
I smile. "I've always liked you, Norway."
He blushes a little, to my surprise, and then shocks me even more by kissing me. After a few seconds, I relax and kiss back. When we pull away for air, I see the poor fairy has covered her eyes, her face cherry-red. We both laugh, and I look at Norway. Damn, his laugh is nice.
"SEVEN MINUTES!" Prussia yells, opening the door. I try to make a mad dash towards the light and safety, throwing the tiny fairy off of my knee by accident, but two strong arms wrap around my waist as Norway stands up, carrying me bridle-style. I blush and look up at him, confused as he sits down next to Iceland. He leans in my ear and simply whispers.
"I'm pretty sure you don't want anyone else finding out about your little secret, do you now?" he whispers. I nod. He pulls away and looks me in the eyes, and for the first time I see something that makes me heart melt.
"You smiled..."

Hetalia: Seven minutes in Heaven!
FanfictionSo. I decided to do this. I don't know why, but whatever xD I don't own Hetalia, or any of the characters, in any way. I'm not that good with the personalities of the characters so I'm hoping that this'll kinda help me. So it'll most likely be OOC...
