I heard the sound of sirens going off as an announcement came on saying the whole prison was on lockdown.

" Fuck" I mumble.

How are we going to ever get out of here.
Looks of panic appeared across all of our faces as we waited for someone to come up with a plan.

"How far does the tunnel go?"I ask breaking the silence.

" it goes outside of the prison walls if I'm correct." Kimetrius informs me.

" but there's a problem." kimetrius states causing panic looks.

" so basically we're fucked?" Gazzy exaggerates.

" no we just have to figure out which tunnels to go through" kimetrius corrects.

" how are we supposed to figure that out" Gazzy starts freaking out.

" well, Jah do you remember anything from Ski's plan" kimetrius asks me.

" a little, not much though." I inform him.

" well we're just going to have to hope we choose the right ones." kimetrius states in a hopeful tone.

" you got to be shitting me." Gazzy continues complaining.

" how long will it take anyway?" He asks.

" it's like 3 miles" kimetrius informs.

" how long is that?" He continues whining.
We're never going to get of here if he keeps complaining.

" Gazzy shut the fuck up and you will find out" Michael says ending Gazzy's bullshit.

" alright come on guys we really don't have much time here" kimetrius says motioning for everyone to follow.

At this point I really didn't know if we were going to make out it or not.
We all walked in silence until we reached the first intersection.

" so which one" Nick asks.

" well first off were could they be leading to?" I ask curiously.

" well one should lead outside the prison gates and another will lead to another part of the prison" kimetrius informs.

" so shouldn't we choose the one that seems longer?" I ask curiously.

" yeah but how are we supposed to know which one that is?" Kimetrius argues.

" well we could try and hear how far the water goes." I suggest not really understanding what I just said.
I just hope it sounded smart.

" that might actually work" kimetrius agrees.

We tried listening to see how far the water traveled. It seemed to be louder in the one tunnel meaning that it had an end.

" alright let's go down this one" I suggest pointing towards the other tunnel.

Everyone soon follows me.

We've been walking for like 45 minutes and I have to admit I'm exhausted.
I'm surprised the guards haven't found the hole yet.
Then again Ski is probably doing everything he can for them not to find it.

" how much longer?" Gazzy starts complaining again.
We kinda just decided to ignore him since it just slows us down and it will hopefully make him stop asking.

" answer me, I'm dying." He tries again.
Yet no one answers.

" I fucking hate you guys." Gazzy pouts.
I can't help but chuckle at him.

It's now been 45 minutes.
The only breaks we got were when we stopped to decide what tunnel to go through.

" so where are y'all planning to go after this?" I ask curiously.

" well what can we go back to" kimetrius asks.

" well what was your life like before?" I ask.

" I mean it's not like we can go back" kimetrius states.

" what do you mean?" I ask still not understanding.

" where do you think the first place the police are going to look?" Kimetrius questions me.
Now I realize that I'll never have my old life back.

" wait then where are we supposed to go?" I argue.

" we're going to be on the run for a while." Kimetrius informs.

" how long?" Gazzy asks.

" at least till the case dies down." Kimetrius informs. I was now just realizing what I was getting into.

Before anyone could say anything further we ran into a gate that blocked the rest of the tunnel.

" now what?" Michael asks with a unamused expression.

" well does it have a key hole?" Kimetrius asks while we all start looking.

" yeah but where are we supposed to get a key?" I ask confused.

" from me." I hear an all to familiar voice say.
