I once I finished cleaning I went to the media room. Nicki was there laying on the couch and she looked at me with a smile.
"Finally your done." She said and sat up.
I rolled my eyes and dramatically fell on the sofa.
"You have work to do." Nicki informed me.
I groaned and pouted at Nicki.
"But I'm tired." I said and she frowned.
"When have I ever cared about you being tired." She said and I rolled my eyes sitting up.
"What do I have to do now?" I asked and she reached me the phone I opened up yesterday.
"You only have four contacts. No more no less. I did some lurking on your old phone and picked the ones that mattered the most. Your sister Solange, your best friend Kelly, and your father. Plus me or course." She said as she reached me the phone.
"Okay." I nodded and took the phone.
"Now call daddy and tell him you want to go to meet up." She said swinging her hair to one side.
I raised my eyebrows and dialed his number. It rang once before he answered.
"Hey babygirl." His voice beemed and it brought a smile to my face.
"Hey dad are you busy?" I asked biting my lip.
"Nope what's up?" He asked amd I glanced at Nicki.
She nodded at me and my breath hitched.
"Remember when you asked me if I wanted to join the family business?" I asked and there was complete scilence for a few seconds.
"Dad-"
"Yes, Beyonce I remember what made you reconsider?" I could tell he was furrowing his eyebrows at me.
"Well things haven't been working out here for me here in New York. Things are too diffrent and I miss home. I need something familiar in my life."
"I'm sorry things didn't work out Bey. Listen why don't you come home for a week or so and I teach you the ropes of the family business." I looked at Nicki and she nodded vigorously.
"Yes. Thank you that sounds amazing Daddy."
"Do you want me to book you a flight back home?" Nicki shook her head.
"No thanks Daddy I'll make my way over in..." I paused like I was thinking but Nicki held 2 fingers up and I nodded.
"I'll be there in two days."
"Perfect. I gotta go but call me soon."
"I will."
"Bye babygirl."
"Bye Daddy." I rolled my eyes and hung up.
"That was perfect." Nicki nearly squealed and I tilted my head to the side.
"Come on we need to get you packed." She got up and extended her hand to me.
